West Point Lounge — Restaurant in Summit Township

When I called to place my order the woman who answered said “Point”. She wasn’t very pleasant when taking my order. She was very curt and short with answers. I went to pick up. It was 1:00 pm. I didn’t want to call and order take out during the busy lunch hour. There were 2 people at the bar and a couple tables had customers. No one even said hello or acknowledged me. So I stood there until someone came and I said I had a takeout order. I think it was the same woman who took my order because she was as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. She gave me my bill and I paid and all she said literally at all was “There ya go” Not even a hint of a smile or thank you. I recently visited this charming old lounge-style diner bar in Jackson. The atmosphere is wonderfully nostalgic. The crowd is warm and welcoming, mostly consisting of regulars who clearly appreciate the unique ambiance, friendly service, and excellent food!

Let's talk about the burgers – they are absolutely incredible! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, each bite is a delight. The buns are perfectly toasted. It's clear that the ladies that were running the kitchen take pride in their craft, and it shows in every delicious bite.
