The food here is phenomenal! This checks all the boxes and is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. It was so good I had to go back for takeout the next day. I do wish the decor was more themed and decorated but it was incredibly clean, the tables and floor were immaculate. They even have a “Great” rating by the health department. We tried the War Wonton Soup, the Almond Chicken, the Dragon Ball chow mein, the bbq pork chow mein, and the sweet and sour chicken. I would order them all again without hesitation. The pork was cooked in all the spices and juices of the chow mein and was so incredibly flavorful. I do recommend getting extra noodles because you’re going to want them with all the delicious veggies they add to it. The chicken was juicy and tender with that flaky crust and savory gravy, absolute perfection. 🤌 I also liked that they cut the chicken up into somewhat bit size pieces rather than a whole piece of chicken. It made it much easier to serve. Then of course if you’re eating in you have to get the hot tea. It’s so nostalgic and flavorful. You really can’t beat this place and the prices feel like pre-covid prices they are so reasonable. They’ve made a customer for life out of my family and I hope they...
Read moreI am so sorry to have to post this but I'm hoping it helps the restaurant in the long run. Last night we ordered $83 worth of Chinese. We ended up throwing away all of it. The gravy and sweet and sour sauce was lumpy and tasteless within two bites we had spitted out and thrown all of it away unfortunately within the hour my husband and I were both sick to our stomachs. Honestly it was the worst Chinese food we ever had. Looking at your ratings online I'm hoping this is not the general experience. It's sad to spend that much money for food that is absolutely inedible. The chicken was hard and dry the egg roll tasted of old oil it was fried in and the chow mien had a musty taste to it like it was old. Fried rice also tasted like it came from a cooker that had not been washed recently. I hate leaving reviews like this, so I hope the folks that own this restaurant can fix these kitchen issues. Won't be back to order again. Oh and just based now on the reviews I'm reading and from the owners response, I probably should have not ordered from here anyway. I have a strict rule of reading reviews before I order unfortunately I did not do this this...
Read moreWell, I have had far better Chinese cuisine. I understand that deep fried foods still have some remaining oil taste. However, every deep fried thing I got was still soaked with oil. Sweet & sour sauce even though light, barely hid the oil taste. Best deep fried item was the sesame chicken. Guessing the sesame hid the taste a bit. Fried rice was barely fried. It had enough taste to sustain it. Plan on frying it up a little more to complete it. Even the BBQ Pork, it's dipping sauce was in a tiny tray. Tiny bit of ketchup, Tiny bit of mustard also. Then the sesame seeds were in the middle of the tray. When you dipped the pork in, sesame sank into the sauces. We'll see how it tastes heated up a second time. Because I ate a little of this, little of that. Just enough to tie me over. Because it sure didn't taste like it used to 10-15 years ago. Planned on going to other places that were closed down. So I decided on there since it used to have great food. Yes, I was disappointed. Probably will never go back. However, hope others had a better experience &...
