Water Hole Pub — Restaurant in Sumner

I stopped in last night for a drink. Sat at the bar ordred a drink. The bartenders are not nice. They walk by and never make eye contact or ask are you doing ok or do you need anything. They were not busy. I decided to play pull tabs and get another drink. When I finally got one of their attention and ordered. I played my pulltabs and I won. So I keep waiting to get someones attention. So finally I get my money. The gal that is usually so rude smiles because she wants a tip which of course I will when I leave. So I took a picture of the pull tab that I won from and sent it to a friend saying I just won. Well the bitchy bartender comes up to me and ask me did I take a picture of the other bartender and send it to someone and I said no. She said show me the picture on my phone. I said no you are not looking at my phone. She took my drink and made me pay for it and kicked me out of the bar. She said never come back. Oh no I am devastated lmao. These people are really ignorant. It is such a dive bar. The drinks weren't good but it was on...

If you are not a regular forget about this place!! We decided to come here for some drinks being that the brewery down the street was packed. I have heard they have new owners and I haven't been here in about two years. There were 5 of us so we got a table close to the bar. When the server finally came to get our order I find out that two of the rums I would have liked they don't have or are out of. Ok no big deal so I settled for something else. When we finally got our drinks that's when service went out the window. When they came back so we can get another round only half our drinks showed up and they walked away. We had to call them back to get the rest of them. This happened every time, either they didn't care or not experienced or both. The regulars got what they wanted and I can understand that because they are regulars. They were more interested in shooting the shit with them then paying attention to everyone else. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK, so stay away if you count on getting...

The service here is great. Especially considering how busy it gets at times. The folks here are quite personable. The food is consistent and seems to always be served quickly. Menu is a simple one. But definitely good stuff for a bar. Drinks are as steady as the flow of customers. Easy to feel like a regular here, even if you're not. Karaoke is nightly, I believe. They pack em in too. Good crowd, great fun. Can't say enough about the staff. All of them! Great customer service, clean, friendly and professional. I enjoy them all. (One in particular I've proposed to multiple times🤫) Yeah, it'll never happen. I recommend the place. And do all the time. Maybe I'll see ya there? I'll be the guy near the bar, likely down...
