i’m not one to write bad reviews, but my experience here tonight was so pathetic.
i went in around 8pm, and ordered a, chicken fried rice, chicken yakisoba and a side of chicken with a teriyaki sauce bottle. i realized a few moments later i forgot to order my side of gyozas so i went and ordered them.
i got my food, they make amazing food and i do love this restaurant but my experience was horrible. anyways, i got my food and went home. i open my boxes and don’t see chicken fried rice so i asked my boyfriend to call to let them know our order was messed up. the lady who answered was literally screaming at him, i could hear her on the other side of the room and she wasn’t even on speaker. she told him she checked with me 2 times if my order was right (she did not ever check) and than says we need to bring in the messed up food in order to get our fried rice (not an issue) he goes in and she changes her story to “I ASKED HER FOUR TIMES AND SHE SAID YES” over and over. which i never did, i’m not a liar and i don’t care about mess up food but if i ordered it i would like it. if she just apologized and said she understand and could’ve pressed a wrong button than told us to bring the food in for the replacement i wouldn’t be writing this review.
but after this, we won’t be returning to this restaurant. we don’t want to be yelled at over the phone and in person for no reason, i also do not appreciate being called a liar essentially. Laughing at your customers and insisting that the order was right when it wasn’t right is really poor customer service. I don’t care how good or bad your day was you do not treat your customers like that.
so when you go into this restaurant, i would make sure your food is right before you leave so you can completely avoid this...
Read moreThe whole thing about eating at a teriyaki joint is the sauce that brings out the flavor, but to get any sauce they make you pay 50 cents for a tiny container so you buy 6 extra thats only 3 each for 2 people , its a total scam....Why do I say that ? Because if you eat in the restaurant you get all the teriyaki sauce you want and its free.....But since the Pandemic and everyone buys take out they are taking advantage of it......its just not right is all Im saying. I mean i get home I ordered a large dinner theres 2 rice piles and the main course which they pack it in there, unfortunately I have enough teriyaki saucer for maybe one rice pile...thats just perfect...I hate leaving a poor review but Im so tired of this nickle and dime people to death I mean this is a pretty expensive place in the...
Read moreThis is the third time I've eaten here, never again, I ordered yokisoba noodles with teriyaki chicken and goyzas, the goyzas were fantastic, teriyaki chicken tasted like leftover chicken, luke warm to slightly chilled covered in cold teriyaki sauce, the noodles were very tough to eat. My food sat for three full minutes ready to be brought to me, the girl continued to fill plastic sauce cups, she was called two times, finally a guy from kitchen brought my food to me. The young girl was snarky and seemed annoyed to be there for the evening. I will not return to this Modoo, I will drive to Modoo #1 at 176 and Meridian, they greet you with a smile, bring menus to table, along with beverages and refill too, all with a smile of sincerity, my food is always fresh and hot, served immediately. So three...
