I went in today (07/28/2018) to get a quick lunch in my break. Went in, was instantly greeted by a younger guy who proceeded to take my order and was more than patient with my horrible decision making (couldn’t decide what i wanted). When i went to pay, the computer shut down on him. Totally fine. I was in no rush and didn’t mind to wait. He called for a girl named Asia (spelling), whom i believe may be a shift manager. He asked her what to do and in an aggressive tone, told him it’ll take 5 mins. He apologized for the inconvenience and i told him it was fine, not his fault. Another younger girl then came around from the drive through and mentioned maybe starting up the second till to help the customers (a solution to the problem.). When she went back around to tell “Asia” this, Asia then changed her tone to a very aggressive and ill mannered tone towards this young girl stating “I already said it’s going to take 5 mins!”
Now me being in management myself, i would have explained to the young girl and guy trying to help (unlike Asia) in a coaching tone explaining why the second till should remain closed.
You need to revamp your management team at this location. All the reviews say it seems like the staff there doesn’t care. If i had managers talking to me like that, i wouldn’t care either.
Not to mention there’s also notes posted by said management on CUSTOMER VISIBLE walls saying things like “i don’t know why this is so hard”.
Verbatim a signage said “All receipts that need to be signed must be signed. I don’t understand why this is so hard.”
That’s a sign that needs to be posted away from customers vision and maybe throw in some coaching instead of downing your staff.
I am highly disappointed in what I’ve seen at this location and how the staff is treated...
Read moreSo I went through the drive through the other night and a young girl names " jess" I believe was working the window, it was later about 9:30pm and I was the only person in the drive through 16 mins later after I ordered she finally opened the window and asked for money, first off I would have said " sorry for the long wait " you can hear the " kids " inside messing around while you watch through the window and she took my money and closed the window , she know I ordered 2 tocos with no sauce, granted I saw her ask if they had sauce and she said " o well and out them in the bag anyways and proceeded to hand me my order along with the other things ( about 16 bucks in food ) I looked at her and she slammed the window , laughed at me and walked away . By them the cars were lining up behind me and I wasn't move till she fixed it....she was yelling at everyone to answer the window cause she wasn't going to to " that girl " whatever that means.....how rude and Diminimizing, so I waiting 5 more minutes till they came back out with the correct order without even asking so they already knew what they had done wrong and thought it was a joke. She should be fired!! You should NEVER treat someone that way. She laughed at me , rolled her eyes at me slammed the door on me , all over tacos , was it cause I was a women? I was so upset when I let to be treated like that 24 mins in a drive through being the only one there is ridiculous!! Please train your employees with some respect and kindness . DO NOT go to the Jack in the Box across the street from Fred Meyer in Sumner! Went there tonight to get my hubby some food ... could hear them through the window talking about deep frying a spider 🕷 in the taco fryer... so I’m like to the kid running the window “can I get a refund on my tacos?! & he’s like “why” so told them I could here everything they were saying... and he got beat red in embarrassment..... and said it’s not the same fryer. I asked for the manager and he said he was busy in the back watching stranger things and doesn’t know how to do a refund. So I asked for the district manager phone number.... called her (she is really the franchise owner) ... when I told her what was going on she told me I would have to come back on Monday for a refund as the manager doesn’t know how... I told her that it is unacceptable for there not to be anybody in the restaurant to issue me a refund after what I just heard... she said “it’s kind of hard to keep people when you don’t pay them enough” I said that’s not my problem take it up with your corporate office... and she yells “we aren’t corporate” so I said “then you need to pay them more... that’s not my problem!” She yelled “you will never get a refund from me now” and hung up!
