Georgio's II Famous Pizza — Restaurant in Sumter

I patronized this restaurant for the FIRST and ONLY time. The WHOLE EXPERIENCE was NEGATIVE. My party of three (including myself and my child) were NOT GREETED upon entry. After FINDING THE SIGN to seat ourselves we did. We noticed that we were the ONLY BLACK CUSTOMERS present which we later found out why... I ordered a garlic bread as the APPETIZER and a large pepperoni pizza with hot wings for our MEAL. The white WAITRESS NEVER CAME BACK to our table to WAIT on us. Our pizza arrived first from a black girl. Where was the APPETIZER? That came next. I sent the garlic bread back and told her it was supposed to be the appetizer. NO APOLOGY WAS GIVEN. Three girls (including the waitress), who were supposed to be working, were STARING AND TALKING about me, I'm sure. The WINGS NEVER CAME and neither did the waitress. Poor job! We watched her give the WHITE CUSTOMERS around us good service, but never coming to us. Finally, after all the tables around us were cleaned she came to our table and I asked for the check. She informed us that we had to walk to the front and pay. When I was asked if everything was good I said, "No. I want to see the manager." Unknowingly, the manager nearly charged me for things that we did not eat. I informed him that the garlic bread was sent back because it arrived late and I never received the wings. IMMEDIATELY, one of the girls who had been staring at me earlier and talking instead of working, TURNED AROUND and BECAME BELLIGERENT. She spoke LOUDLY, WORKING HER NECK AND WAVING HER HAND saying, "I made those wings so I don't know what ya'll talking about cuz I made those wings myself!" She gave herself and everyone else away. She was very CONFRONTATIONAL and UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED for such behavior. The manager asked her if she or anyone else ever brought the wings out. Hmm, no one had much to say then. He offered to have her re-fry them. I said, "No, thank you. I don't like her ATTITUDE." He offered to give them for free. I did not want anything else from this place. We will not be back because poor customer service is given to...

This place use to be a good place to eat. But I will never eat there again. I ate inside with my wife. When I went up front to pay for my meal, they charged me a higher price than what the menu had. I told Jimmy about that and he said that they went up on the prices and the menu was wrong. I told him I was not going to pay the higher price, and his wife came by me and told me that I changed the price on the menu and that the menu price was right. I showed her another menu with the reduced price and she told me not to come back in there again. ( I am just talking about $1.00 more in cost). I told her that I would not be back ever and Jimmy called me a jerk while I was leaving. I know several people who go there everyday and I know lots of people that get take-outs. I told them what happened and they told me that they will never go back. I hope some of you will read this will do the same. I pity the people that go into places like this and do not stand up to people like them. They try to take advantage of us. Their food was pretty good, and the waiter is very good. But Jimmy and his wife need to learn more about customer service. They are here because of us supporting them. And I am not going to support them anymore...... and I hope you do not...

Ordered two pizzas, told they'd be ready 20 minutes. 20 minutes later show up to pick, give name, no one says anything about messed up ordered. Until questioned, one of the workers spoke up and said our order was given to someone else. 45 minutes and $40 later pizzas are "done". Start to eat the specialty pizza, suprise suprise, under cooked, doughy and soggy!

The worst part the owners didn't apologize or offer a discount or anything to make up for it. Not sure what's going on with this restaurant, service and owners attitudes are horrible. If I could give less than one star I would. I will let everyone I know, not to patron your restaurant. It really is too bad. The other lactation by Shaw AFB, the owner and Kevin are nice as could be, food is much better there. Because of the owner/managers (I image it's the owners son)at the location by macrays mill road, will not return. He has a bad attitude and very rude. Even the mother is rude and impolite. You'd think in the current climate with covid and small business folding up, places like this would appreciate thier patrons. The owners attitude are flowing over into the the quality and taste of the food. Quality is down and the prices keep going up.
