Starbucks — Restaurant in Sumter

On the morning of September 25,2024 I visited Starbucks, the store was located in Sumter, SC. As I browsed the menu for options I was helped by the staff. Upon making a decision I decided to order an iced coffee, strawberry Frappuccino, a blueberry muffin, and cake pops. The assortment of food and drinks are very good. Starting with the drinks, the iced coffee was strong and very creamy with caramel notes. It was the perfect amount of sweetness to the coffee. The strawberry Frappuccino was a nice light cold option for something refreshing. The strawberry blend with the whipped cream topping gave it such a great texture. It also was perfectly sweet, the strawberry puree on the cup was a pleasant surprise. I thought it would have been overly sweet but it was great. Definitely would recommend this for a child. Next, the baked goods that I tried all had a flavor of their own. The blueberry muffin was okay, it was moist but very crumbly with the crumb topping. As I came to the end of the muffin, it seemed rather dry. I don’t know if it was heated too long or the muffin itself wasn’t new. The cake pops were good, although the vanilla flavor inside was a bit gummy. I was a bit upset that both the birthday cake and raccoon cake pops were just a vanilla base. I did like the texture of how thin the buttercream was on the outer part of the cake pop. If I had to order again I would choose the birthday cake pop because of the sprinkles on it gave it a little crunch. I was overall pleased with everything I ordered. Next, I hope to order more of the savory part of the menu. The atmosphere was very inviting, and so were not only the workers but the customers as well. I love that the store was very clean...

My oldest turned 13 today and she wanted Starbucks before school. So we woke up 30 mins early to make the trip on her special day. Get to Starbucks and ordered for me and my 2 daughters and at the window to pay I noticed I forgot my wallet at the house. The girl at the window with no hesitation said don’t worry about it and gave us are order for free. An act of kindness that made my daughter’s birthday morning that more special. I wish I would have got the girls name but just know how grateful I am that...

It's a typical Starbucks. I go mainly for the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino or Pumpkin Spice Latte. I usually don't get coffee because it tastes burnt to me. I like bold roast coffee, just not theirs. I will go with Veranda blend blonde roast or Pike Place medium roast when it’s on tap. Service at Starbucks is awesome! The baristas are very friendly and courteous. It's a great location for casual meetings or for working. The internet is fast...
