I am torn… this review is mixed… on my first visit there my Turkey sub was made wrong. I ordered it in the garden, no oil and lite onion. The girl made it with a lot of onions, no mayo and then put oil on it. She attempted to fix it after I said something, by scraping off the toppings into the trash and re adding them. So we all know, there’s still oil on that. And then there were Soooo many onions. The guy working the grill saw me picking a pile of them off and remade it for me. THAT hoagie was absolutely awesome….. today my boyfriend brought me one to work. He asked me what I wanted, and I told him. Please know… I work maybe 2 minutes from the sub shop. He dropped it off, I came in and opened it. I had ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions, mushrooms and peppers, plus lettuce tomato and mayo. It arrived with no mayo and the hoagie bun was so saturated that it made the hoagie inedible. Think wet stuffing bread before you bake it. I cannot have it remade because I’m at work. So that has to be trashed. I’m a 3 strikes kind of person. They do have really good hoagies.. when they get it right! It...
Read moreI've been in many restaurants around the world. This place has a 4 star rating and after eating here I can attest it's nowhere near that. The last time I ate here was 30 years ago and this place looked exactly the same as my last visit. My sub had what looked and tasted like discounted low-grade lunch meat. It was not delicious at all! All the tables I tried to set down at had chip crumbs under them, and moisture stains from drinks and crumbs on top of them. All this while the two women working there were busy chatting on their smartphones. Someone really needs to get control of this place if they want to stay in business. I won't return here and wouldn't recommend it to any of my foreign friends that visit here. This place really reminded me of some of the dirty restaurants I had been in while in China! Dirty and nasty...
Read moreI'm a lifetime fan of this place! My parents use to go here when they dated (been married almost 52 years). Growing up, living in Indiana, we would go back "home" to Pennsylvania to visit family and go to Sunbury Subs. To this day (still living in Indiana), when my parents take a trip that way, they will stay an extra day to bring home a Italian Cosmo for me :) I believe it was Maria that packed everything separate for their trip back and gave instructions for heating! It was AMAZING!!!!! I have yet to find a sub place that comes close to this! For reference, I get the Italian Cosmo as they make it, toasted, with all the fixings including the oil and mayo! I was just informed that my parents are heading that way in August, and I...
