I stumbled upon Delhi to Kathmandu Restaurant & Bar recently, and it far exceeded my expectations. The combination of authentic Indian and Nepali flavors, beautiful interior design, and very reasonable prices make it one of the best finds in the South Bay.

✨ What I Loved The atmosphere is elegant but cozy — colorful Nepali and Indian décor, vibrant wall art, and a full bar that feels upscale yet relaxed. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and the staff were happy to adjust spice levels and explain dishes.

We ordered: • Tandoori Chicken – juicy, smoky, and perfectly grilled. • Malai Chicken Tikka – tender and creamy with subtle spices. • Rack of Lamb – outstanding! Cooked to perfection and full of flavor. • Garlic Naan – soft, fluffy, and perfectly crisped. • Coconut Rice – fragrant and a great pairing with the meats. • Chicken Tacos – fun Indo-fusion twist with great presentation.

Every dish arrived sizzling hot and beautifully plated. The flavors were vibrant without being overpowering — you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients.

💰 Value For the Bay Area, the prices are surprisingly affordable given the quality, portions, and setting. Comparable restaurants nearby charge much more for a less impressive experience.

Recently visited a Nepalese and Indian restaurant in downtown Sunnyvale with my uncle, and it was a memorable .The restaurant had a welcoming ambiance, combining warm decor with soothing music that set the tone for a relaxing evening. We started with the Chicken Tikka salad and fried shrimp .The salad was fresh, with perfectly spiced chicken tikka pieces, complemented by crisp greens and dressing. The fried shrimp was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired with a delicious dipping sauce that enhanced the flavors beautifully.For the main course, we ordered Chicken Tandoori , Garlic naan and Gobi aalu matar .The naan was soft and fragrant, with just the right amount of garlic to make it irresistible. The chicken tandoori was the star of the meal—succulent, smoky, and bursting with flavor. The Gobi Aalu Matar, a hearty vegetable curry with cauliflower, potatoes, and peas, was well-seasoned and comforting, perfect when paired with the naan. For Drinks we decided to order virgin mojito and cranberry juice .The mojito was refreshing with a perfect balance of mint and lime, while the cranberry juice was chilled and served just right. Both drinks complemented the meal wonderfully. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we were well taken care of without being intrusive. We recently chose Delhi to Kathmandu to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make the occasion memorable. They played a birthday song and even set up laser dance lights, creating a fun and festive atmosphere that added a special touch to our celebration.
