Pros: Very nice lobby, pleasant staff, clean bathrooms. Cons: Expensive, shop deserted after 2 pm. This is one of the only public coffee shops/restaurants near the Google Cloud, Amazon, and Meta offices, inside a new hotel that opened in February. Came around 12:30, no fresh pastries, just a few cookies and the packaged food options in the refrigerated case. I ordered a small drip coffee ($5) and a chocolate chip cookie ($7), $12 total. The taste of the coffee was pretty good, but full of grounds at the bottom, so that was a big negative. Cookie is obviously way overpriced. As mentioned in another review, the shop is not regularly staffed after 2 pm, and the pastry case is completely empty. Other restaurant staff will come over to help with coffee if they see you standing there (I say this with confidence since a group was being served at 4:15 pm), but I have to question how well this works and the quality of, say, drip coffee that isn’t freshly brewed. The lobby space is large with lots of seating options and both wall and floor plugs. If you want a laptop height table, you’ll be sitting at one of two communal tables on stools. All of the other tables are too low to work at. The hotel internet tested around 19 Mbps and was plenty fast for video conferencing. Bathrooms are located behind the restaurant, very nice and clean. This would be a great spot to grab a quiet drink with a few colleagues and have a relaxed business discussion. As a coffee shop hangout, it’s too expensive with inconsistent service and products.

I am always looking out for good places to host gathering with girlfriends and for Meetup groups. It's not easy to find a large space for a group of 10-15 people in coffee shops that has nice decor, a clean restroom, quiet without loud music, and are not busy on a weekend afternoon. I think cafes in the hotels might be a good choice around Silicon Valley. 10/10/2022 Edited: My group of 18 people went to this place in the past Saturday and had a great experience. Although I didn't know that their barista only worked until 2pm, there are still cold drinks that we can purchase. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with our parking validation. By the way, they also has a bar and a restaurant.

We tried Coffee Manufactory for the first time today. This place is inside the Tetra Hotel. The barista was friendly and did a great job on our latte and mocha. Really enjoyed the flavor of the espresso in both drinks and the mocha wasn’t too sweet. The pastries were good, from Firebrand Bread in Oakland: we had a ham and cheese and some sort of Nutella-cardamom kouign amann. We ate outside in the courtyard between the hotels. I was disappointed that self-parking cost $5 (I didn’t notice any pricing on the way in) so next time I will see if I can get the parking validated.

Eclectic Asian twist is absolutely brilliant! I LOVE Coffee Manufactory! I would go out of my way to come here

PRO: Amazing Coffee Croissants are excellent! The ham & cheese croissant is elevated with Gruyère and a salty ham! Sweets are off the charts! Une cooki? Sesame Rice Krispies? Red Velvet Cookies? Almond croissant? Pain Chocolate? Boom! Cool merch to get (Japanese knives, clothing, roasted coffee and more) Longer hours Bodega where you get some delicious and unexpected takeaway lunches, snacks and beverages

CON: Steep prices. Sweets are $6-7 Sweets can run a bit sweet. The milk tea blondie is much too sweet and I don't get milk tea Only open until 6-2PM. Sadness. Can be slow service (only 1 person manning the area) Can be pricey. Red Velvet Cookies are $6 and the other sweets like the Milk Tea Blondies and Sesame Rice Krispies are $7. But they are a good size.

SUMMARY: Great coffee, even better sweets. I love the Asian twist, absolutely deliciously different. I love the vibe here and cool gifts (if you are a guest and want to take something home like coffee or Japanese knives). The hours however keep this place from a...
