My husband and I just dined here and it was our first time here. We have had Thai food and it is a very desirable food selection we love having. Our experience here was very disappointing. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! We aren't fans of spicey food so we usually order our usual which is Pat Tai, Red Curry Chicken and Seafood Basil Green Curry. These three selections on the menu description show that these three specific dishes dont have ANY CHILI SPICES.

Basil Thai Menu

Red Curry Chicken was very spicey. After just one bite our mouths were on fire. Our waiter/server neglected us. We waited to see if she would come around to see how it was all going, huge fail. The Chef or food prep came out to serve us our second dish and that was when we told him that the red curry was too hot. He politely took it back and had it remade.

Seafood Basil Green Curry was another very spicey dish. Again on the menu it doesnt implicate that this dish is made with spice or chili which is why we ordered it. After one bite and chugging at our thai iced tea and a scoop of rice didnt fix the problem. $14 dish not consumable for us.

Pa Tai Shrimp was delicious. We were able to comfortably consume that. We wanted to order another round of Pa Tai but our server NEVER came to check on us. We had to hunt another server down just to ask for the check after waiting for 10 minutes to see if someone would assist us (it wasnt busy)

*When we asked for a manager just to vent our experience to after we paid $60 dollars and tip from a male server he quickly snapped into an attitude. He was unpleasant and unprofessional. The server responded the manager IS the owner and that he wasnt there tonight. We left not wanting to waste anymore time there.

Thai Iced Tea wasnt the usual. We had to ask for more cream. Otherwise it tasted like a watered down Tahi iced tea. The dishes are totally out dated there. I saw plates that I use to see at buffets over 20 - 25 years ago.

WE WONT BE COMING BACK...

The worse Thai Food restaurant that I ever been to in my life .....The food is over price and the amount of food is little. They charge lots of money for customers by serving little amount of food to pay the rent of the restaurant. I been there last Tuesday June 4 of 2019, I ordered Brown curry chicken with brown rice and the taste was extreme horrible not the It used had before, I wasn't even Full....They used to serve good amount of food on 2016 but now its getting worse that I thought. Above all that they don't even provide any images of the food on their menus so the customers know what to order..I tried to communicate with the restaurant owner but no good results......I told them is this is the way you treats your customers, they said with (horrible English Accent) that their rent is expensive and they are force to serve little amount of food with higher Prices......I rather go to a regular Italian Food or Chinese that they serve their customers with good enough amount of food with affordable Prices....This place is...

Unfortunately our experience was really bad. First of all the plates are so big it's hard to find room on your table; the food is centered with a 2" perimeter of plate around it so for all that space occupied on your table you're not getting much food. The other issue was when we ordered we were not asked "mild, medium or spicy?". They should write spicy next to literally all of their dishes. Ive been ordering the same dishes at Thai restaurants for years and they've never been too spicy but here we both got dishes that were too spicy to eat (and my dinner companion was indian!) it was a miserable experience Within seconds both of us had runny noses & were physically comfortable . I tried to scrape off as much of sauce as I could from each bite but it was futile. We had a few bites and couldn't tolerate eating any more . The server asked if we wanted boxes, we explained to her we couldn't eat it.. too spicy. She didn't say anything. I think their philosophy is: "not...

We came here on a weekday around 8pm and it was one of the restaurants still open. We ordered a small Tom yum soup with tofu, a beef green curry, and a chicken pad Thai. The food was tastier than expected and a good price compared to other Thai restaurants nearby. Tom yum soup is slightly more sour than average and a great appetite opener- includes lots of veggies. The green curry was my favorite as the flavor was perfect- spicy, salty, sweet balance, maybe would be even better if it were a bit thicker. The pad Thai was nice and moist, but I prefer if it were a bit less sweet. Portions are a decent size, not too big or small.

My experience at Thai Basil was honestly pretty awful. I ordered some takeout, and to my surprise, there was a dead fly in my food when I opened it at home. It was not only gross but also concerning in terms of hygiene. What really got to me, though, was that the restaurant owner added a 20% tip to my bill for a takeout order without giving me a chance to review it. They actually submitted the payment while I turned around to talk to someone else, not giving me any time to react or question the bill. It felt like they rushed me into paying before I could even process what was happening.

The food is very nicely prepared and super tasty! They also have multiple vegetarian options! And even the option to customize is available. Some of the items contain in menu but it can be removed on request. The pricing of the item is also decent, although rice is not included in the item. Something to think about but I still found them to be quite good compared to alternative options. The staff is also very courteous and warm! They serve promptly, greet you with a smile and their serving time was almost instant. Would definitely recommend this!!
