Our family had the most delightful experience at Homemade Dippys Ice Cream on Surfside Beach Fishing Pier! It’s hands down the best homemade ice cream we’ve ever had. The flavors were incredibly rich and creamy, and every bite was a treat. Cake Batter was hands down the best!! Super friendly workers. We loved it so much that we visited multiple times during our vacation. The location on the pier made it even more special, with beautiful ocean views adding to the charm. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this fantastic ice cream spot – it’s a must-visit!

I didn't get pictures of every time we went to Drippy's but I ate more ice cream there this week than I have in a year! Delicious every time! Staff was always patient and on top of it even when it was jam packed! Every single flavor I got was delicious but the Barbie and Banana Pudding get special shout outs! Italian ice was refreshing and delicious too! A must try and well worth any wait time! Still emotionally devastated they were out of the cute pink hat, we settled for the blue. We're definitely coming back next time we're in town!

Nothing really positive or negative about either of those. What I loved was that they had 2 "sugar-free" options. My bf is always trying to look for a sugar-free option, so this worked out perfectly.

This is all homemade ice cream, sorbet and ices in their factory on the premises. Great vegan ice cream! Some flavors are also gluten free. It’s creamy and delicious! Highly recommend this place for vegan ice cream. If not vegan, there are many delicious looking flavors of ice cream to choose from. If you love ice cream, you’ll love this place! ….Update 7/15/25 the last 3 times I have come to this location, no more vegan coconut based flavors at this location due to “can’t get coconut milk”, so I order the banana Italian ices and Pina colada Italian ices with chocolate syrup and sprinkles. They are delicious, but I really wanted the vegan coconut based ice cream. Also, no more gluten free cones available here in Surfside. I buy Joy brand gluten free cake cones and sugar cones in the store at home. For us GF vegans, please have ice cream available and GF cones for us at the Surfside Beach location. The other 2 nearby locations have 4 vegan ice cream...

The view was great but it stops there. Service was ok but nothing to brag about. Just took our order and took our money. Zero conversation. As for the ice cream it severely lacked any flavor. Had the cheesecake ice cream with graham crackers. Zero cheesecake flavor and the vanilla had zero taste. Tasted like air. The toasted coconut had such an artificial flavor to it and tasted icy. The coconut inside was just coconut not toasted coconut. Red velvet also lacked any flavor whatsoever. Price was decent but quality of the ice cream...
