Sonic is usually a good place to bring my kids. However, the last time I was there I had a boy serve me the food and he had blue nail polish on. Naturally, my kids saw the server wearing blue nail polish as he reached into me car to hand me the food. They had a million questions that I had to uncomfortably answer. Should I say that it is normal and then my kids grow up thinking that it is normal and get held back in life, or should I say the truth? How do I tell my kids that the server was mentally ill without sounding like I am being over judgmental. How to I urge my child not see it as acceptable to grow up to do this themselves? Without saying that he is ill, they may think it is alright. But if I do say something, they may repeat it at the wrong time, and embarrass themselves. Why is it, that we must be embarrassed when it is the boy that should be embarrassed? It is gross! He should be embarrassed and so should Sonic for hiring him. Really! When have our standards dropped so low! I was raised knowing that one that Carrieâs themself well, will be successful and not frowned upon. Stop pretending that this is normal. It is not! Itâs gross and disturbing. However, Sonic is good because you can relax in your car, and they can bring the food over to you. As opposed to driving through the drive through and being in a rush. I typically go there with the kids and have a good time. The ice cream sizes are pretty large and cheap. The prices are correct and not over-priced like other places. Otherwise, I wouldnât even go there if the prices were any higher. The last time I was there I had a boy with nail polish on his fingers bring the food out. I was stressed over having to explain deep things about earning a salary and working minimum wage, and how people place themselves in the âhave-notsâ for no reason and then complain about...
Read moreIt's interesting to read the comments for this location. Not too surprised though. I came to this location one time shortly after they opened, grabbed a quick bite for breakfast, used their walk up ordering system and swiped my card. Processed no problem. Within 10 minutes of using my card, mind you I had just received my order and was making my way to my car, I checked my bank account to look for a deposit and low and behold my credit card had been compromised and had 3 charges already charged to my bank account. After contacting the bank, they determined more than likely there was a card skimmer on the machine at Sonic. I had not used my card for over a day before this purchase anywhere, no sooner did I swipe it at this location my card was hacked. I contacted the store manager and basically got told, oh that's too bad, sorry. No follow thru, no let me make it right, no nothing, just "Oh sorry about that". I went a whole week with no bank card thanks to Sonic. Needless to say I have never been back. By the bad reviews it seems nothing has changed as far as management. Like most of these fast food restaurants Corporate does not care, they care only about lining their pockets. Customer service and satisfaction are a thing of the...
Read moreIf I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. This definitely proves that large chain companies will hire ANYONE that walks in. Went there for two online orders one for me and one for my wife. Got there and checked in on the app AND pushed the red button letting them know we were there to pick up both orders. First off they tell me "we only have an order for Mason not Harley" then proceed to bring out the order, which keep in mind is a single shake each, for harley; the one they said they didn't have. I then wait another 5-10 minutes and push the button. She reassures me that the other one will be right out. I waited for about 30 minutes before pushing the button YET AGAIN and this time the child on the other side had an attitude, laughing, and being sarcastic. Finally I got my shake after MULTIPLE cars came and left with MEALS. DEFINITELY unorganized and rude employees. Will for sure be trying to get my money back and not...
