Spencer’s Place — Restaurant in Surprise

If you haven't heard that the newest location of Spencer's Place has opened now you know. Located inside TEAM 4 Kids near the corner of Cotton Lane and Greenway in Surprise. This location is in a lot shared with many businesses and parking could get a little backed up, but today I had no trouble. I already adore the original location (also in Surprise) and today proved no different. I was pleased to see more items on the menu than the other location. From salad options to fruit, pastries and my favorite the Greek yogurt parfait with gf granola. Fruit and local honey, so good! Service was amazing and everyone is always so kind. Today besides the yogurt I ordered a cold brew with heavy whipping cream and sf vanilla. There is so much seating that vary from small, high table top to a cozy couch. My friend's son enjoyed a few puzzles while we chatted. The concept of Spencer's is my biggest reason for coming. Not only is it a locally owned business it is a place that employs and trains individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They provide the community with a heart changing experience. I love the pop tarts from Suss Pastries and the local honey for sale. They have two locations now! Located in the team4kids building. I love this place I'm here at least once a week. Somehow you just feel better walking in, it feels safe and cozy. Their drinks are always on point and their food is just what I need (I forget to eat sometimes) and tastes great. No problems with accommodations and they have gluten-free pastries. The bathroom is always clean and stocked they even put in a changing table.
