Apple Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Susquehanna Township

We live near by and went to this bar to get a six pack. More than 30 minutes before closing. Now I understand if there is an event and you have to pay a cover charge. The guy at the door stopped me on my way in, and told me I couldn't go in. (Nothing about a cover which I would have gladly paid) I told him I just wanted a 6 pack. But he looked straight at me and said no you can't go in, you're white. We had been to this bar a handful of times prior to this, and the bar tender is wonderful, we never encountered an issue before this. But to be told we couldn't enter because we were white is ridiculous. If that's the reason you don't want someone to go in, then say you're at your max occupancy. Don't take it there. Makes me very sad because we enjoyed this bar, and now we will not...

Spending was not the problem before a newly hired bar tender walked in the bar and told the bar to refuse us drinks because of a personal problem that existed between me and them months before she worked that bar. There were no problems. Seriously.. Thats some type of personalized discrimination. Newbie told the bar not to serve us so the bar wouldn't serve my friends because they were with me. It's an okay bar. Bartenders need training and pick up the pace. Dont ask for any special drinks they dont/cant make them. They had a great cook in there which is why I frequent the establishment but now that he is gone I wont be as much. It's the only bar in the colonial park area that you can smoke inside. Also on the weekends there is a cover charge to see the same people you seen all week either there or at work or in your neighborhood. No theme or anything special honestly...
