We were in Harrisburg for a concert in early August and decided to have dinner at the Peachtree Restaurant based on the good reviews. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly with menus provided shortly after that. After reviewing the menu offerings, we ordered the lasagna and a Broasted chicken dinner. They offer a wide variety of meals at fairly reasonable prices. Both meals were served approximately 20 minutes after we ordered. The Broasted chicken dinner had four large pieces of chicken that were crispy outside and tender, juicy, and delicious inside. The lasagna was a very pleasant surprise, and probably best described as "meat-lovers lasagna". There was no shortage of meat inside, and the marinara sauce had an amazing flavor. Each bite of lasagna was a mouthful of flavor. Simply, some of the best lasagna I've had anywhere. Portion sizes were generous for the price. And our server, KC, provided truly outstanding service. She was friendly, engaging, efficient, quick, and very attentive throughout the meal. Some of the best meal service we've had anywhere. Our total bill was just under $30 (plus tax) for two full and very delicious dinners including salads, sides, and beverages. A very reasonable price for the quality/quantity of the food and service. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever with our dinner visit here. In fact, our dinner meals were so good, we came back the next morning for breakfast. We ordered a Western egg sandwich with home fries, and three pancakes. The Western sandwich and home fries were delicious. Although the pancakes weren't extremely large, they were absolutely delicious and more than filling. Some of the best pancakes that I've had anywhere. Including two orange juices, our bill for breakfast totaled a bit over $22 plus tax. Maybe not a "cheap" breakfast, but we've paid as much for worse breakfasts elsewhere. Service at breakfast was good. Again, no complaints with our breakfast meals either. Four excellent meals at the same restaurant isn't always guaranteed, but we would definitely eat here again based on our two visits. Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

We have never eaten here and were pleasantly surprised. We walked in and stood for about 10 min before we were greeted. That is where the problems ended. We were seated in the next ten minutes and had drinks before we had our masks off and hands sanitized. Our server Jen, was running her butt off but, never failed to make sure we were taken care of. Drinks were filled without asking and questions answered quickly, even after she said she normally works mornings. The food was delicious. Most of the salad dressings are made in house (and they sell them). I had a "spicy" pasta dish that did not kill my taste buds but was still full of flavor. My wife had an open turkey sandwich with two sides. It looked small but was very filling. Our one daughter had a pancake smothered in strawberries, toast, and a scrambled egg. And finally two of the kids had chicken tenders and FF's, that may have not been made in house but were still very good. The total was $63, after we bought a bottle of Ranch Dressing. This was a great experience for what started with unknown expectations. Highly Recommend.

Originally gave 4 stars. Changing to 2 stars because I’m reviewing my bank statements, and they rounded my tip up to make the total an even number. It was only 4 cents, but it’s the ethics. Also, I have a photo of my receipt that I signed, and it is clearly written. ——— First time here and came with a group. Our waitress was really nice but seemed new or a little scatterbrained. She asked if we wanted her to bring out rolls. ??? If they’re complimentary, just bring them out. We had to ask for water refills. Also, a couple people asked for their checks, and she brought them their checks but didn’t ask anyone else until a while later. The food was okay. Wouldn’t get the fries again. I didn’t even know my melt came with them as the menu doesn’t say anything about it, and the waitress didn’t mention it. The other melts come with your choice of soup, salad, or fries, but the melt I ordered was under a special category. The rolls were really good.

I understand that the restaurant may be understaffed but there were plenty of things wrong with my LAST visit ever to this establishment. Starting with our waitress. She didn’t introduce herself at all just walked up to table and asked “want something to drink?” She left us with menus for 15-20 minutes before we got to order food. Food arrived about 20-30 mins later and the homefries that came with my meal were basically Chips due to how overcooked they were. When she dropped the food to the table, that’s exactly what she did and immediately walked off. Didnt ask if we needed anything else nor checked on us during our entire meal. We didnt have condiments like the usual ketchup or jelly at the table and i only got some 3/4 of the way through the meal because i stopped a woman bussing tables and she was so kind to stop and get it for me. We finished our meals and even stacked the plates up. Waitress walked past us several times for about 15-20 mins after we were done, still seemed to be ignoring us then asked if we were done(mind you, plates stacked)

Doesnt stop there… we go to pay and we tell the host that we need to tap to pay as we have done in the past… she advised that they do not offer that option. Now freaking out as to what to do we start to try and find a card to pay with. I look at their card reader and notice it does have the tap to pay icon on it. When I advise the host of this she says in rude tone “we are not permitted to use it” i say yo my friend well i dont know how we are going to pay now. Mind you i know it is not their fault if they don’t accept it just frustrating when we have done it before there and if we knew we could not do so, we would have went somewhere else for lunch…. Another worker i believe she was a waitress chimes into the conversation asking very loudly if we can leave something there with them to go back and get a card to pay. And is yelling about whoever let you tap before its been addressed etc etc. to the point my friend had to ask her why she seemed to be being loud to make a scene and we weren’t even talking to her. Told my friend she was being rude because she said to ME “i guess ill have to put it on my credit card”…and comments made about how they know how apple pay works and if you have apple pay you have to have a card to put the card number in and add it to your wallet… when i explain i lost the card she said well then you should order another one..well that wasnt helping me right at that moment and although i had money to pay just with a method they chose to not accept she threatened to call the cops on me if i couldnt pay. We came to this place for lunch to leave our work environment and take a break from the day we were having at work and this us the type of customer service we experienced....

Several times I've been to this greasy spoon and have had the worst meal ever. This older woman who serve me several times is always disrespectful cantankerous arrogant. She bought me old greasy fries that seemed to be from the date previous and what heart is a rock and clearly have been in oil for an extended period of time and it still didn't soften them up. I explained to her that I did not want onions on my steak and that is exactly what she then was to put onions on my steak.. I told her that I had an onion allergy. She got loud and argumentative and took the stake back only to return shortly with the same piece of meat that was now like rubber I still had a taste of onions on it. When I complained she hit the ceiling like a rocket causing the whole restaurant to look up. I was ill for several days after eating some of this trash and don't know if I'm okay yet. I've been having bowel problems and and sweating all day and into the night since injesting this garbage. The she and who appeared to be a manager treated me like I was going to run out on the bill. These people are horrible and the Health Department should get involved. I am reporting the catastrophe to my doctor. I have eaten all over the world I say never have I ever had such treatment and such a horrible tasting food. This old lady is apparently doing stuff to the food. She is nasty and what she brings to the table is nasty I say again this isn't the first time this want to be waitress has been ignorant and unprofessional for me this time the food was so horrible it has made me ill. She should be banned from handling food and serving the public. The other waitresses are quite pleasant and if something is wrong the exchange it in a professional manner. Utterly disgusting experience that I'm...
