Great location in Sutton's Bay. We got there during happy hour which offers a discount on beverages. We were promptly met by a hostess or waiter who led us outside (on our request) to a balcony table with a small view.
Our waitress was very friendly and helped with a couple appetizers. On the recommendation of some friends who were just by there the week before we ordered the "Massive Mary". A great Bloody Mary with a hamburger slider, buffalo chicken slider and 3 onion rings. It is big enough to share as an appetizer in it's self but we added the homemade Arizona Eggrolls too.
Drinks and the appetizer came out quickly. The Massive Mary did NOT disappoint! It was was not overly spicy at all and had great flavor. The slider was juicy as was the buffalo chicken slider. The onion rings were crispy and fresh.
For dinner, my wife had the perch sandwich with sweet potato fries and I had the mushroom burger with cottage fries. Meal service seemed a bit slower than what I thought it should be but can't complain as the waitstaff did a great job! Our food was hot though the cottage fries seemed to come out of the oil before the burger did so they had cooled off some. My sandwich was perfectly cooked at medium, was juicy and flavorful. The wife's perch was tasty as well and her fries seemed to come out a bit before the sandwich was ready.
Sorry missed out on pictures of the sandwiches.
All in all a nice meal. Would definitely go back.
NOTE: They fry everything in the same oil so if you have a shellfish...
Read moreNice location and thats about all. We were asked if outside was OK, which was perfect as that's where we wanted to be. The host said we could go to the lower level and we had asked if we could go to the upper level and he said no (even though there were only 2 tables occupied) and had given us napkins to use as masks, even though the only people wearing masks were the employees. Waited at least 15 mins an no menus or water. On my way to the restroom I had to seek someone out to get a menu. Another 10 mins and we finally got menus , after watching others be seated AND get drinks. Waited a long time for food which was not good. Ive never had a bad wedge salad and this was bad made with romaine lettuce and poor tasting blue cheese dressing. All bad food except for the walleye. Waited for our check and a to go box and after a 15 min wait I went to ask for the check and a box and was stopped at the door and strictly told I couldn't enter without a mask, again, even though no one inside was wearing one other than employees AND a girl was passing me that wasn't wearing one through the building. After another 10 mins the waitress came without our check. We were there for 2 hours for poor service and poorer food. The location was nice and OUR waitress was kind, but that's all. Very disappointing for our first meal "out"...
Read moreWhat a time to leave the phone at home. Took my brother up to Sutton's Bay🌞 to the Secretary of State. Most people around here just KNOW their SOS is THE Best in Northwest Michigan hands down! So, we were in and out in no time and looky who's across the street: Boone's Prime Time Pub! Melissa waited on us and she absolutely was a joy! Both my brother and I had the Boone's Burger, his with chips and mine with fries. The Boone's Burger is a typical burger deluxe in that it comes with tomato lettuce onion and a choice of cheese. That's where typical stops. The half-pound grain fed locally raised beef in the burger was Worthy. By itself. Delicious and juicy, even well done, one hell of a burger. The fries were no slouch either especially with salt and a blast of malt vinegar. Topped off with Modelo on tap, I find myself looking for a reason to return soon. Ah, right; the Massive Mary. Saw a poster on the wall and saw it on staff shirts: this monster comes with everything, and probably a kitchen sink if one were to look closely enough. Sounds like the perfect Sunday Brunch in a...
