We kept coming through the Swannanoa area when this shop was closed but were curious to try it out. Iā€™m so glad that we added it to a recent day off exploration trip. Their pretzels are great and their service is super friendly. The shop is a little off-the-beaten-path but it is worth the stop. They have an excellent seating area and it seems that it would be a great place to host a gathering or just meet up of a quick bite or a meeting. Their pretzels are incredibly good. We were working it into a busy morning, so we just got some pretzel knots with some beer cheese but we will definitely be returning to check out the rest of their offerings.

I've been holding out on this for a few months now since they've open after the storm and I tried to go one day and it was closed and today was a perfect day I went over there with my bestie and I am so glad we did because I had the jumbo pretzel and she had the mushroom stuffy and I had the Weihenstephan draft beer I can't even tell you It was just one of my best experiences in recent times I'm just going to be dreaming about this place and I'm going to be a regular there no doubt. The crazy part about it is I looked up in the tree and they have pretzels that grow on trees there

The owner's name is Eddy and he is from Munich Germany but moved to Brooklyn, then Marshall, and now Swannanoa to make his special pretzels, traditional beer šŸ§€ cheese, mustard, and fun local fizzy drinks and beer. The space has an all-gender restroom, board games, a ping pong table, and ample seating. They also have ā™æ handicap accessible parking, šŸš» restrooms and seating.

I have heard about Blunt Pretzels and I was so excited to try it. We have been to Munich a few times and we always loved Bavarian pretzels. Something about pretzel and beer combination is irresistible and amazing, I am so happy there is a place like this near us. I got three jumbo pretzels to go. First I was a bit bumped when they told me I had to bake them at home for a few minutes, seems like an extra work, but our oven made pretzels so warm and devious. So it was totally worth it for me. Pretzels taste very good and fresh. One star is off for not looking a lot more like pretzels from Munich (darker color, more cracking on the skin, twisted ends not as thin). Also jumbo size did not look jumbo at all, more like regular...

Sorry that I didnā€™t know about this place till recently - up until now, I hadnā€™t really found a great pretzel in the Asheville area and would have told you the best soft pretzels were at Samā€™s Club!

The owner is from Germany, and brought his recipe and technique with him. These pretzels are the real deal, featuring a mildly crunchy, salty malt-brown exterior and a soft, dense, stretchy-chewy interior thatā€™s just waiting for a dip of Lusty Monk mustard or one of their excellent beer-cheeses.

The interior is airy, bright and fun, and thereā€™s ample outdoor seating. Parking is easy and free. Knowledgeable, friendly employees will help ensure you have...
