I was very disappointed today with the seafood boil. My husband and I always go to get our seafood boil here. We will always recommend to friends. Today a friend drove from Greensboro to see me, she wanted seafood- I immediately said, no worries. I know the best spot! I ordered a seafood boil, it was very dry, looked like the food was steamed for a little and then dried season was sprinkled on top. It was not marinated in any “special “ sauce. The potato was not cooked. It was just terrible. The server was very helpful and understanding. She agreed with what I was saying, and by the look of it- it was obvious. I really tried to eat it- but I couldn’t. After we were walking out, another lady at the check out window, told my friend and I- come back again and bring you friends. So I proceeded to tell her, I was actually there bringing my friend. Then I added about how disappointed I was about the food, and I asked did the chef change? What’s different? The boil is always phenomenal here. I explained to her what I experienced. To my surprise, she looked at me, and out from her mouth she courageously said, “YES, I KNOW, I WAS JUST TOO BUSY AND I RUSHED IT!” I couldn’t believe my ears! It was not peak time, and there was two other families dining at the time. But that shouldn’t even matter. Cause at the end of the day, customers are paying their hard earned money. QUALITY FOOD is what should...

There was a lot of confusion upon arrival as we didn’t realize there are two different restaurants with very similar names within 30 feet of each other. This restaurant is pretty much only seafood boils and is the door to the left.

Limited parking on site and limited seating indoors, but there is some outdoor seating onsite. Beware that there are a lot of ducks that will pester you while you eat outside.

We ordered by checking boxes on a piece of paper and returning it to the server. She did come check on us, but I think the service would be better indoors. The food itself was pretty good though the shrimp was a bit overcooked. We were really hoping to try the crab cheese fries, but they were all out. We got plain fries as well as a double order of the crab, shrimp, and crawfish and it was perfect for 3 adults.

It was definitely an experience outside—a herd of ducks surrounding us, pecking our feet and stealing our napkins out of our hands. The waitress chased them out of the fence and shut the gate but they managed to sneak around the side of the fence and get back in. It was strange but also pretty funny. Our 8 years old loved it, but I think I’d choose the other...

We called ahead to have a drink and appetizer while we were placing our order, usually it is a 30 minute or so wait. There was no wait so we brought our pup and hung out in the back deck area. We had a bowl of water with ice cubes brought out for us a few Coke and Rum doubles the crab cheese fries (which omg, they were a cheese fry connoisseurs dream!) the calamari which came with octopusesses as well, which was an awesome surprise! Marinara was enjoyable as they also are affiliated with the Italian restaurant across the street and back west just a bit.

We placed a to-go order for 4 people with a double boil of crab, mussel, clams, and shrimp. Great flavor, lots of food even had left overs! Had an order of rolls, hush puppies, corn, potatoes and slaw. Along with a dozen clam steamers. Clams are littlenecks but the lemon butter sauce more than made up for that. Pam brought our food out and man she is fast. So much so my dog was confused at the happenings.

Place is great and super hospitable with an awesome buckhead...
