County Fare Too Coney Island Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Swansea

When I was in college, I used to LOVE New York Systems Coney Island dogs in Providence at Onely Square with the SPECIAL MEAT SAUCE. The cook behind the counter would line up 5 to 10 dog on his sweaty arm and make them to order. I remember paying $1.00 per dog. I loved them! They were perfect!!

These days, I have not been able to find the same dog ANYWHERE. This includes County Fare Too Coney Island. Sadly, his meat sauce did not compare to my previous flavors and memories. I was extremely disappointed, especially after the cook profoundly announced that I would be back. The dogs cost $2 to $3 each. Buy five, get one free helps but the flavors, tastes, and snaps of the dogs were inefficient.

I realize that nothing will compare to my memories, but this shop is NOT perfect. To brag how good your dogs are is disappointing PERIOD. I would recommend the owner change his meat sauce to be a bit more flavorful and spicey. If it isn't giving me indigestion, it is not perfect. Get dogs that have a snap when you bite into them. In fact, get weiners, not hot dogs from cheap suppliers. PEOPLE MUST REMEMBER QUALITY INGREDIANTS MAKE QUALITY PRODUCTS.

The establishment has awesome decor, literally a 💎 GEM. I have lived near this place. For a couple years. I can't believe what I have missed. The Portuguese Soup was delicious. Grab and go. So awesome. Definitely eat the sloppy joao. I think that is the spelling. If you're in Swansea,MA I really believe this spot will be the next staple for years to come. prices are right. If your hotdog takes too long at the Golf Course on Pearce Rd. Stop in and give the family owned business...

I came across this gem on a random road trip to the area. This place was phenomenal! The owner was very friendly and made recommendations. I went with the traditional coney dog and the rodeo dog ( bacon, homemade bbq sauce and crispy fried onions ) both were delicious in their own ways.

I will definitely be back to try out more of these amazing hot dogs and to check out some other good eats...
