Nestled in the heart of Swansea, MA, Thai Taste offers a delightful journey through the culinary wonders of Thailand. Our recent visit turned into a flavor-packed adventure that left our taste buds dancing and our hearts full. 🍽️
Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Their attentiveness was evident, especially when it came to accommodating my daughter’s peanut allergy. The peace of mind knowing they took such care was truly priceless. 🙌
Our feast began with the fresh rolls, bursting with vibrant veggies and wrapped in delicate rice paper. They were the perfect light start to our meal. 🥗 Next up, the beef satay stole the show. These skewers were impressively large, juicy, and paired with a peanut sauce that was so divine, it could make anyone a peanut butter fan. 🥜
For the mains, my daughter enjoyed the chicken pad Thai sans nuts, while I indulged in the beef pad Thai with all the nutty goodness. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the flavors impeccably balanced, and each bite a testament to the chef’s mastery. 🍜
My wife opted for the chicken hot basil with rice, a dish that delivered just the right kick. The basil was fresh, the chicken tender, and the sauce spicy enough to keep things exciting without setting off alarms. 🌿🔥
Throughout our meal, the service remained top-notch. The staff’s friendly demeanor and quick service added to the overall wonderful experience.

Read moreThe customer service was great! Friendly staff and quickly made food! However, the food itself was a bit sad. I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken with fresh rolls and my mom ordered vegetable pad thai. When I say vegetable pad thai, I mean mostly the entire meal was vegetables. The noodles themselves were tasty, but I just wish there was more of them. As for the sweet and spicy chicken, most of the chicken was actually other vegetables (including lots of pineapple chunks). The chicken also had a very soggy coating and practically slid off the meat, but at least the flavor was there! I put a bit of the rice into the sauce so it could soak it up and at least that wasn’t too bad. I only had about 4 pieces of chicken for 10 dollars and a side of rice. Was the value there? Sure, if you’re looking for a quick bite. Otherwise, I’d say you’re better off asking for JUST chicken and rice. The fresh rolls themselves were delicious and totally worth the price (just be wary of nearby napkins)!
If I could give a suggestion to the chef, it would be to take out the zucchini and the pineapple out of the sweet and spicy chicken. Instead, replace them with Chile peppers and green onions. They’re cheaper and have a lot more flavor. They would also take out the moisture from the steamed vegetables. Also, for the pad thai, include more noodles WITHOUT the zucchini. The zucchini changes the flavor of traditional thai food. As for the fresh rolls, add big thai basil leaves to give it that flavor...
Read moreI’ve eaten here before so I’m not sure what the issue was this time, but the main waitress/seating lady is very rude. This establishment has supposedly recently changed either their menu or their food policies because they were refusing to accommodate for our allergies, which they’ve done before. I have a severe shellfish allergy and who I dined with has an MSG allergy and asked if the food could be prepared without the “white oyster sauce” and she rudely told me “no, everything on our menu is either oyster sauce or MSG” being in the food service, it’s expected that while I can understand they can’t make certain exceptions to their rules and regulations, it would’ve been a little nice to receive a little bit nicer response. I kindly reminded her that we have eaten here before and were able to enjoy my food without any problems or reactions and she shakes her head no and says “can’t be” so we kindly got up and left to find somewhere else to eat. The other 3 times I’ve come here (I’ve only lived in the area for a year) I’ve never had an issue or anything like that here before and actually really enjoyed the food, unfortunately won’t be...
