Mini man needs an attitude adjustment or a new job. Looks like he’s been very sassy over the last few months based on these reviews. My fiancé called in for our usual. A beef STEW and shrimp pho. She was asked what noodle for the STEW, so she told him she’ll call right back. She called me, I told her rice noodles and she called them back. This time the young girl picked up (she’s very pleasant but still learning English.) My fiancé gave them the order again. Shrimp pho and beef STEW. I get off work, pick it up and head home only to see a shrimp pho and beef pho. I called in and very politely explained that I just picked up but got home and realized the order is wrong. Wee man snapped. He basically said we ordered a (example…P6 and P8) and that’s what we got. I said I have no clue what that means because we don’t have a menu at home to see the item codes. (So that’s a lie.) We always just ask for shrimp pho and beef stew (we also dine in occasionally and this is how we order.) He repeated this menu code more aggressively again along with other BS and stated he’s not about to argue with nobody on the phone and about I bring his food back. So I take it back, ask him what’s up with that energy on the phone? He start going off again about P this and P that and how they lose money when we can’t order properly. That’s when I got super confused and annoyed. How you screw up my order and more upset then me? To which he said “and I’m being nice trust me” I told him I don’t want new food at this point. Just refund me. He took the food back behind the counter (Hope it wasn’t served to someone else after being returned. Code violation) He just kept doubling down on how it’s my responsibility to check my bag before leaving and getting home if I want the right order. Also maybe I should just order online in the future so I can get it right. He’s yelling all this as I’m walking out the door in front the other customers. The owner of this place owns more than one establishment and I’m surprised he’s not one bit concerned by the service people receive here. Usually our experience here is very neutral but today was the last time. I’m clearly not the only one that’s experienced this. NOT ANOTHER DIME FROM ME AND MINE. UPDATE I even went as far as pulling the recording from my in house cameras. My fiancés phone was on speaker both calls. I played it back and not only did she order correctly but she verified the order again and again and they messed up. And messing up wasn’t an issue for us because they mess up when we dine in also. But we’ve always remained patient and polite with the young lady due to language barrier and her pleasant demeanor . It’s the hostility we were met with from...
Read moreI've been watching YouTube videos of Asia & obsessed with Vietnam & Thailand. This restaurant looks like the authentic & rustic restaurants on the YouTube videos, but higher prices, of course. We chose the higher end entrees. We retired, lol. No mortgage. Zero debt. This is our first time here.
Anyways, I ordered the clay pot seafood entree, which was to die for, with the crispy rice at the bottom. Next time I will just get a banh mi sandwich and the pork egg rolls with a tropical drink. I could just eat the 3 egg or 2 spring rolls alone as an entree with drink. Husb got his favorite shaky beef and son likes the huge rice combo platter, which is pricey. I had never tried the Vietnamese condensed milk iced coffee so I ordered that with pork egg rolls.
The iced coffee is too strong for me so I'll pass on that next time. I'll get a boba drink. The sandwiches seem to be cheaper than other places so we'll try these next time. If you choose drinks, appetizers, and higher end dishes as we did, then it will cost a pretty penny. We ate here and it was like an event. We paid $80 total. Son and I had enough leftovers for...
Read moreI'm never going back there ever again, the way the guy that handel's everything by himself was so rude to me for the first time ever. He always was really respectful until last night to me. He rang me up to pay and during that time I ask him could I have some of the sauces for my take out. Then he asked me did I want the commercial or their home sauce. I didn't know the difference so he explained to me. I guess I was taking too long to swipe my card then he ask me, "Can I have your card?" I didn't get to answer him. That is when he took my card out of my hand and charged my card. That is how fast it happened. Then I went to give him another tip and he did not want the tip from me. I never was humiliated like that ever... I understand that you have people waiting but you just don't rush someone out that way. It is very sad that you are the only person that is running the front of the restaurant the majority of the time because at the end of the day your character is more important and with that you will tear your company and everything else apart. Don't burn yourself out because it...
