We decided to try this place for lunch. The salsa was good so I had high hopes for the place. Sadly this was just not for me. I had ordered the mummy shrimp with a salad and rice for my sides. The mummy shrimp are supposed to be jumbo shrimp with cheese wrapped in bacon. They were medium-sized shrimp wrapped in bacon and no cheese. The "salad" was just stuff you put on a burrito. Shredded lettuce, a past its due date tomato, sour cream that tasted off, and guacamole. I thought it would of at least been a side salad. The rice was bland. There was no seasoning at all. Just some plain old rice so I didn't eat it. I will say that the wait staff were all nice and the place was very clean. I just would not come here for food again. Probably just sit at the bar for drinks and salsa.

Took food to go Food was flavorless literally most boring Mexican food I've had to date. AND ORDER of FAJITAS GOT NO TORTILLAS AT ALL . My son was very disappointed had to eat his food no tortilla to make a fajita. Burrito order was two boring rolls of ground beef not even folded like a burrito. No flavor. Street tacos has very little meat in them and very greasy tortillas but at least had tortillas. Even the Horchata drink wasn't good and I'm an expert on Horchata I didn't even finish mine and was thinking when handed to be 20 oz is not near enough....most give you 32 oz as large but I didn't even drink it was not good Horchata. I'm not a picky person but seriously it's Mexican food not hard to make and get it right. This place missed the mark big time...

We stumbled on this place while in town. Loved the charm and ambiance of this restaurant. The staff was kind and helpful when asking questions about items on the menu. We enjoyed a half pitcher of margaritas. Perhaps some of the best I’ve had around. The price for the items was below what you would find anywhere else and the portions were big. No complaints only smiles and full stomachs. You will not be disappointed when you come and eat here. We’ll be back.

We arrived at L'Acosta with a large crowd and were seated quickly but, that is the only thing that was quick. It took our group about 5 minutes for a server to ever come around to ask for our drink order (we were almost the only people in the restaurant.) It took another 10 minutes to receive the drinks that we all asked for. The server never asked us what we wanted to order to eat until someone approached him 15 minutes after we received our drinks and said we were all starving. The food came out fairly quick after we ordered it but, the food quality is just mediocre at best. The beans were dry and flavorless. The rice was overcooked, dry, and bland. The steak I received was the best part of the meal but, it was still overcooked. This was my second time trying this place and neither one of the experiences were...
