For starters I was surprised that the food was really good. I’ve been passing this restaurant for quite some time and decided to finally stop by. This restaurant although it does need a lot of upgrades. His pretty decent food. It looks like at one point they may have had a buffet but right now you can only dine in or takeout. I decided to dine in and the menu was very small and limited, but my choice that I did end up with was the sizzling Singapore chicken it came with steam rice, but I opted for the fried rice, which is basic fried rice that they served me in a bowl I also had the option to choose egg drop soup or wonton soup. I went ahead and got the egg drop soup my wait time wasn’t too bad to get my food. I may have waited about 15 minutes once I got my food. It was pretty much a hit as far as the food goes This restaurant is pretty small and not very appealing to the eye so if you go for aesthetics, you probably wanna pass on this place the waiter who served my food was also pretty pleasant and was really knowledgeable on the type of food and different flavors and things that it came with overall, I give this place about a four considering the atmosphere was really dull. It was kind of dingy inside, but the food was pretty good. Last but not least the price so the price of the food wasn’t overall bad I in total paid about $19 altogether the food itself was OK. I probably would’ve paid a little less somewhere else, but considering that I haven’t had Singapore sizzling chicken served on a hot plate before I...
Read moreCertainly, the Chinese cuisine I encountered was exceptionally poor, ranking among the worst I have had in 35 years of dining.
Chicken, referred to as “Fowl,” on the menu, was a misspelling of the intended word, “Foul,” which is used to describe something unpleasant or foul-smelling.
The fried rice was gummy and lacked any mixed vegetables. The flavor was severely underwhelming, devoid of soy, garlic, and sesame oil, resulting in a taste that resembled five days of stale brown rice with a sprinkling of egg.
The Kung Pao Chicken, which is supposed to be spicy, was instead bland and unpleasant. The chicken was not only foul-smelling but also foul-tasting, and it was mushy. The dish consisted of 80% undercooked celery and peanuts, with no red bell pepper or scallions, which are essential ingredients in Kung Pao Chicken.
The continued operation of this establishment is perplexing, and I firmly believe that it should be illegal to keep a goldfish the size of a sea bass in a tank that is too narrow for it to...
