This was our second visit here. Happy to say this place is as good as ever! Also was happy to see at a recent dinner with my wife that the place was completely full at dinner. Looks like more people have discovered this gem. We started with a generous sized appetizer of guac which was terrific as were the chips. I had a grilled chicken burrito and my wife ordered a shrimp burrito which she requested be made without rice and without seasoning on the shrimp and it was made perfectly. Word of advice for first timers....the price on the burritos are higher than you will see at any other Mexican restaurant BUT, they are that good AND they are huge. Two "normal" eaters can easily split a burrito. With the guac we had even I didn't finish my burrito and I virtually NEVER leave food on my plate. I did save room to try the key lime pie. I don't know if that is house made but it was really good! Service was great too. We had a very nice young man who stopped by constantly to make sure we didn't need anything else.

This would be our third visit, and this place never disapoints! Quality and freshness of ingredients stands out in all the delicious options offered which it is important to say, are fairly priced. The restaurant is laid back and perfect for any meal throughout the day. As a welcome, warm tortilla chips and salsa are served, on the house, the salsa is hands down the best one we’ve ever had! We got to try tacos birria/asada/barbacoa, chicken fajitas, refired beans and rice, Guacamole and the fried plantains. Desert and drink wise, we had the Key lime pie and horchata. Teresa (the owner) and her staff are so welcoming and kind, and they do their best to make everything from scratch which explains why this place is worth a try. We can’t wait to explore the rest of the menu in the upcoming weeks.

MUST TRY THIS PLACE OUT. What an amazing establishment, right when you walk in you are greeted immediately with smiling faces. The decor and theme of the restaurant is very cool avocado themed.I ordered 3 different types of tacos and was not disappointed with any of them. The ceviche was super tasty, I ate the entire basket of complimentary chips and salsa with my entree. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the restaurant while I visited. It’s really nice to see residents of their community invest back into their community. These folks really know what It takes to operate a restaurant. I would have posted more pictures but I ate everything before I remembered to take pictures!

I drive past this restaurant every day on my way to work and on my way home. I have been wanting to try a new mexican place. I told my husband we should come here and we did and brought my daughter.

He ordered the Orale burrito and 1 Coconut shrimp taco with spicy mango sauce, I ordered Flautas, and my daughter ordered enchiladas. I also ordered a side of guacamole.

We all were impressed with the freshness of the food, starting with the fresh flavor of their salsa, for the hot chips they gave before the meal.

The burrito, flautas and enchilada contained chicken that was both perfectly seasoned and perfectly moist -without being 'wet' at all. Delicious. The sauces the enchiladas and flautas were plated on were delicious also. The flautas were crispy but not too crispy. Just right.

The guacamole was perfectly seasoned as though I made it at home myself. Perfect ratio of garlic, salt, cilantro and all flavors.

The favorite item we all enjoyed was the Coconut Shrimp taco with spicy mango sauce. We were pleasantly surprised by the perfect crunch on the shrimp, the flavor burst of the spicy mango and even the veg including red cabbage, so finely shredded it added a nice texture to the taco, much appreciated. The only thing that might improve the Taco would be to add about 50% more spicy mango sauce.

We have already been back for more of these amazing tacos, our second visit in just over a week.

Though they had clean and cute decor for inside dining, my only reservation about eating there in person and sitting down would be the overall atmosphere of the little dining room. It felt a bit exposed to the street. Very brightly lit, sitting directly in front of a wall of windows, visible from the street. Almost like sitting in a fish tank, feeling too much 'on display'. A good solution might be to figure out a way to screen off the windows at least to shoulder heighth. (Not able to see outside the window when you're seated, but yes, when standing so as not to feel closed in either)

They did also have booths, two on either side of the dining room. But the booths were not large enough to seat a 4 person family. They would only comfortably seat one person on either side of each booth.

I think with decorative screening to cover the windows, providing privacy and also getting larger booths, you may attract more business for seated, in house dining. Make it a little more cozy instead of just bright and clean.

For the time being, I am definitely going to be returning as a customer and buying more of your delicious and very fresh tasting food, and I encourage people to give you a try. It's the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. Maybe ever - With the most fresh and delicious flavors, leaving us feeling like we had actually eaten healthy food, rather than eating the junk that you get just about everywhere else.

I am more likely to do takeout, pretty considering the seating situation.

But we thank you for all of your honest effort and diligence in cooking and providing these fresh, delicious flavors. Well done!!

We give you five stars!! My husband...

Closed at 5 PM Super Bowl Sunday. Guess you hate making money and providing food to your customers. This place is a joke never open and the owner only likes positive reviews and bullies people to remove negative ones. I will not be bullied your restaurant is failing because you do not value your customers.

Perfect example why this place always has an empty parking lot. Completely a waste of time reply to a 4 star review from the owner. Only 5 star reviews do not make a restaurant successful: Órale (Owner) 2 days ago Hello Mike, we are glad you enjoyed your food. As the owner that takes reviews very seriously, as it helps to make improvements etc., it is the briefest of your 74 reviews. All your other reviews are very descriptive of what you liked and did not like, therefore useful to those who care. I have no idea what I could have done to have deserved a fifth star from you. We are just a quaint and humble mom and pop restaurant. We are about the food, not trying to dazzle people with exquisite furnishings and the like. I've been to many a Mexican restaurant with beautiful furnishings Etc , but inedible food. In my humble opinion, our chef and co-owner is quite simply the best Mexican food chef in Southeastern Michigan bar none. It's about the food, always has been always will be.

12 hours ago NEW Quoted 1 hour wait time on Cinco de Mayo - no problem, we get it. Arrive to pick up food, had to wait an additional 30 minutes.

Get home and notice guacamole and chips are salsa are missing - again, no problem - should have checked the bag myself..(I guess).

Try to call the store back - all recording and couldnt get through to anyone. Arrive back at the place and notify them that they forgot the chips and salsa. They then give me a bag and when I got back to the car, the chips were missing. So, I get back out of the car and walk in and they say "oh yeah - we are out of chips!"

Wont...

I walked in the restaurant to place a carry out order. Ordered two kids tacos, three regular tacos, and an order of fajitas. I ordered guacamole and she tells me they don’t have any and that they are going to be making it fresh and it’s going to take 20 minutes. I tell her I can wait. I come in after 20 minutes. My order is not ready. I come in 20 minutes later my order still not ready. I come in again. About 15 minutes later and she says my order is not ready. I hear a lady next to me , tell them she placed an online order and they tell her they didn’t receive it. There’s another female there with her kids who also ordered about five minutes after me and her food isn’t ready. I suggested that my food should be just about done and asked for confirmation and she went in the back and said they still have not started my order. Meanwhile, I look around at the tables and everybody’s getting their guacamole lol. The lady says they only have one cook back there but obviously they don’t know what the heck they’re doing. My families been in the restaurant business for many years. I don’t know how good the food is or is not, but I can tell you that they don’t know what they’re doing in there. If you are the owner, and you are reading this, shame on you for not being there. You cannot hire cheap labor if you’re going to charge expensive prices. When I asked for a refund, the girl gave me back cash instead of putting it on my credit card. I will...
