This place is absolutely amazing! It was our second time going, the first was last year around the same time as we only are in town for a week around the 4th and the first time made such an impression we had to come back! And after this time i"m sure we will AT LEAST once every time were in town! When we went it was a tad bit busy, and some people had been waiting on carry out orders for a bit, but it turns out the reason why is we unsuspectingly went on the very first day they opened since Covid. Our waitress was super nice and helpful! And the owner is the NICEST restaurant owner I've every met, LITERALLY running at some points to accommodate any and all guests needs! She felt so bad about the wait and the unprepared for rush of the first day back open, but honestly, some people did wait a little bit but i didn't see anyone waiting over 25 mins and we got our food out at absolute perfect times. The moment we got done with the soup the apps came out, right after apps the meal came out, and so on! And the food is AMAZING! The prices are a steal, certainly for the portions! All of us ate as much as we could and then some! And the evening was made even more amazing when the owner treated us, my three friends and I, to Japanese beer when we were the last people in the restaurant for the day as a combination apology for any wait (but again we barely waited and only were the last because we kept eating more and more) and a celebration of the first day reopening!!! That is the nicest treatment I've ever gotten in any restaurant! The owner told us how in the past 4 years they've been open they built a good name with the locals, very understandably, but seriously, if you've never been or you're from out of town looking for a nice treat of a dine in experience, GO HERE! You will not regret it, i...

Read moreGiving a 1 star as we will never be back. Went a couple weeks ago. Busy and slow service. I can deal with the slow service when busy, but not when our server won't listen. As we are talking, she is walking away. Which made her have to make several trips to our table. One of us asked if a rice dish could be ordered as a half order, server said yes. OK good, because if not, we didn't want it. The order was large and charged for full order (barely ate any of it). When asked about the full charge the owner came over and said no we don't have half orders. Well, I'm sorry but your server said yes when we point blank asked her. So the owner said she would take half of it off, BUT WE HAD TO LEAVE THE LEFTOVERS. Excuse me what??? I sure hope they didn't plan on serving them to someone else. To me that is bad business and for that we will NEVER be back and will be sure to tell everyone. Food tasted good, but not good enough to come...
