I heard this place was good and I hadn’t had Teriyaki Chicken & Rice for a long time. I called ahead and ordered a lunch size to go, no salad. I said I could be there in about 5 minutes. When I entered, it wasn’t busy and there was a woman and a younger man at the front desk. I gave her a $5 and a $1 dollar bill and my card to put the rest on. She brought out a huge package and gave me my receipt for $26 dollars and some change. I said to her, “a lunch bowl costs this much?” She pushed the large package at me and said I had ordered it. I explained that I was the one who called previously and said I would be there in 5 minutes. She kept pushing the package to me and no matter how much I tried to tell her this is not my order, she insisted. I gave up and figured I would be eating Teriyaki for the next week. Then, as I was driving away, my phone rang and it was her and she was yelling at me that I said I would be there in five minutes and was a liar. I tried to explain that I was just there and she gave me the huge dinner instead of my order. I couldn’t understand her at all but I did get the “liar and it is New Years and that is bad luck.” She called me a liar about 3 more times and hung up on me. Not only very unprofessional and mean, but it cost me a lot for a little lunch. When I got home, I didn’t even have the right receipt! It had a guy’s name on it and it was for $22.00. Obviously, I will never go...

Read moreThis is my favorite teriyaki place in town. The food is delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. I personally recommend the Mongolian beef, beef and broccoli, garlic chicken, and gyoza. Beware if you’re not big on garlic: many of these dishes (especially the Mongolian beef) are garlic-heavy. The pho, teriyaki, and fried rice are also excellent. I’ve been going here a couple times a year for 3 or 4 years, so the owner knows me, which gives it a personal charm. Sometimes I won’t have much time to get food, and this place is a much healthier option than fast food - and the prices are comparable for the amount you get. If you’re here for lunch, go ahead and get one of the lunch specials - it’s at least 1.5x more food for the same price. Give this place a visit, they sure as hell deserve it. ((And tip a lot too. They’re...
