Let's start this review with a simple 'you gotta love this place, and I really mean it.' My wife and I have been wanting to go here and tonight we finally got the opportunity. When you walk inside you'll notice the nostalgic feel and when you see the menu, you will definitely know that it's more about the food than the atmosphere!. Every burger is dedicated to an iconic phrase, or even an action hero, but you really need to pay attention to the awesome prices as well. I ordered the six (6) piece shrimp basket with fries and my wife got her go-to ' chicken tenders with sweet potato fries ' < literally anywhere she goes. Now look. People will tell you that food like that is so basic and you can find it just about anywhere, but you would be wrong. Food is different by how it's prepared, cooked and by who is in front of that grill, and I got the opportunity to meet the owner (Michael), of Flipping Out Burgers and he truly makes it worth eating here. Almost every place similar to Flipping Out you'll find that they will throw a frozen patty on the grill, not here!. They blend and grind their own beef for the burgers and I know this because the owner actually showed me!. I'm not trying to church anything up at all, I'm giving you an unadulterated opinion of a great laid back, chill kind of place you should check out. Side note: the Coconut Shrimp are 100% legit good.

*pics of the NASTY FLOOR & soda fountain area* The burger($4.59)looked good but tasted just okay. The bread and condiments were fresh and I liked them more than the burger itself. The tater tots($3.19)were okay but spendy and cost almost as much as the burger. They don't offer combo meals either and there is one size for the drinks($1.99). The cashier I'm guessing was the owner, she seemed pleasant. The seating area floor and walls were disgusting, even the tv was dirty, including the vent in the ceiling. I was concerned about the kitchen's cleanliness based on the dining area. With a drink my meal cost $10.76. I felt like I spent too much and it was worth more like $6.49 plus tax. I won't be back because of the price and definitely due to the lack of cleaning... again even more concerned what the kitchen looks like. Best part was the burger without the meat & the ice. Too unsanitary in my opinion. Unfortunately, the floor is much worse in person.

Finding a good, old-fashioned burger joint is always a treat, and Flipping Out Burgers & Fries is no exception. My mom and I stopped by here on our way to Port Orchard as shown on the 'Explore Food & Drinks' tab here on Google. It was a little ways off the freeway, but it was worth the drive. The inside of the restaurant is simple and the menu is easy to become familiar with yet filled with interesting choices. Our server was friendly; the only complaint about my visit was a mix-up on which type of fries I ordered, and to me this was minor. While the food was more expensive than comparable offerings at common fast-food restaurants, its delicious taste and freshness more than made up for this. In summary: Flipping Out is worth a visit if you're in the area and in the mood for an appetizing, fairly quick alternative to Sonic or McDonald's.

Good fast food with friendly service.

I can not compare this to In n Out, they are different types of good burgers. In n Out has a specific way of building a burger that is their standard way. It never changes unless ordered to change. Flipping Out Burgers is more a la carte like Five Guys. With that said, I can compare it to Five Guys, they are more similar. I love Five Guys, but this place I would probably choose over Five Guys every time. The burgers here are fresh, and delicious made to order. They were not super greasy like I get at Five Guys. The bacon is thick cut, and has the perfect crisp. The chef even came out of the kitchen to make sure we were enjoying our food.

The Chuck Norris burger is what I ordered, it's a burger and cheese in between two green bell pepper slices holding tons of jalapenos smothered in a chilli sauce I could only guess was tapatio. This is a Spicy burger.

My wife ordered a bacon cheese burger, she concluded similar to me, way better than Five Guys. She said the bacon was better than Five Guys too.

Next time I'll have to try the shakes. (I'm not even a shake kinda guy)

10/10...

I have been going to the Flippin Out Burger and fries place for more than a year now and today I was totally taken by surprise when I went in, explained that I had purchased two burgers to go with one order of fries the previous week and the fries had not been placed in the bag and I didn't realize it until I had arrived home. The owner of the place whom I, until today, had enjoyed a congenial relationship with as one would after at least a year of weekly business, accused me of lying to her. I left, went somewhere else for lunch and upon arriving home I dug out the bag with the receipt attached to it from my recycling bin and promptly drove back and presented it to her employee and asked that he give it to her when she returned. For the record, I don't lie, especially over a 3 dollar order of fries. I am not however above asking for recompense. I won't return to do business ever at Flippin Out. I gave the place one star just so I could post...
