Part of my family went for a nice night of appetizers and ended up ordering a full meal. We had Ginger Wings, Pad Thai, Toasted Sesame Wraps and Lemongrass Chicken. The prices seemed a bit higher than I expected, but the large portion size and quality of the food made it well worth it. The wings were the most flavor full crispy wings we ever had! I normally hate Pad Thai at most places, but the flavor and firmness of the noodles were perfect. The other dishes were great too. The server was very polite and attentive. The owner came over and we the sweetest person. I went through four glasses of water and they were always quick to refill it even though they were very busy for just two people serving. The decor is delightful too. Lots of wood carving to look at and even a cascading water glass fixture when you walk in. All our food was garnished well and looked delicious. We brought our very picky ten year old hoping he would like something we ordered. He loved everything! He even at the veggies and enjoyed them. Thank you so much for a great experience...
Read moreFirst time visiting, and we're excited to try out some signature dishes. Quaint and we'll decorated little place.
We started off with the pork and lemongrass beef satay and the signature toasted sesame wrap.
For the mmain course we ordered the classic fried rice with chicken, the lemongrass grilled chicken, and the ginger and broccoli pork.
For dessert, the coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice.
Our favorites were the satays and the lemongrass grilled chicken. They were well marinated. However, the peanut sauce was too salty and thick.
The rest of the other dishes were just ok. Mostly due to the meat being tough. It would have been great had they treated the meat and tenderize it like they would like the satay and grilled chicken. The sesame wrap was also super sweet.
Desserts were so so. Basic coconut ice cream, which we had better. The mango sticky rice has some uncooked rice, and mango was a bit on the raw side.
Overall, it's not a great nor bad experience. Some hits and...
Read moreI was very disappointed after trying takeout from this place for a few reasons. The first, it was way overpriced…a small appetizer was $15. I got the imperial rolls & they were so small. the description states there are vegetables in it, but it was just chicken fried in a rice paper wrap. Next, I got the BASIL curry which was $20 and had zero basil in it. Also, they didn’t include rice (additional charge) so it essentially was a watery flavorless curry soup. I made noodles at home to supplement but I feel it should at least be noted on their website that rice is separate and I would’ve added that to my order because the rice is pretty important in curry. I order a lot of curry but I’ve never ordered a curry that didn’t come with rice??? I was shocked about that. Last, they don’t have any spice level options on their site. Everything had zero spice. We added it in at home but again, when paying the prices we paid for our mediocre food we shouldn’t have to also cook and add stuff...
