Casey's — Restaurant in Tahlequah

One CASHIER!! VERY VERY BUSY at ALL times!! Had to wait 20 minutes to PRE-PAY gas. Very inconvient for a "CONVIENCE" store. Plus the cashier was rather rude once I did get to pay, would NOT start the pump until he has the cash, even though I drive a 2008 Aveo and with the gas (at the time $1.88 p.g.) $20.00 is more than enough to fill up the 11 gallon tank. I WANTED to give him the $50 bill I had FOR HIM TO HOLD until we filled it up. Now I just put a $20, if it fills it up fine, if not I will wait until I get closer to T-Town to fill it up. No person, no matter how harried, should be treated with the level of rudeness I was FORCED to endure. I am basically a "local", but WHAT kind of "hospitality" this business is showing out of state visitors to Oklahoma?? I was appalled at this person's behavior toward customers. He APOLOGIZED, but the fact remains, HE is representing our STATE in this situation. I was offended for ALL the customers he barked at THAT DAY. No matter he was SUPPOSE to get off and got stuck longer because someone "called in sick." STUFF happens....

Love it , it's the only place I stop at for gas , snacks , and an ice cold drink. Might I ad the restrooms are always clean and we'll maintained. The cashier's are always friendly , and polite. Number one stop in my book . Much kudos from me.

☆UPDATE☆...WOW, where to start. This past month the service is horrible here. I pay for gas at a certain numbered gas pump and they turn on a different one and say I didn't pay yet . Thank goodness they have cameras in case of a situation like that. Also I went in for a refill of ice in my cup because I dropped it outside by accident and they refused to let me have anymore evenbthough i was going to use the cip i had just bought and that I would have to pay for an extra one ... Sucks here lately, the better and cleaner restrooms are at the Caseys on south Muskogee . I suggest to go to that one instead. Thank you , have...

One thing I noticed at this store is the atmosphere is bad mostly because it's on the bad side of town. I watched the type of people that went in and noticed CUSTOMERS didn't care to be greeted, they don't acknowledge any of the staff unless there is a problem. I counted 50 people walk in and NO ONE had a smile on their face. The moment I walked in to the moment I walked out I smiled, returned pleasantries, and got nothing but the best.
