MUST READ !!!* The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, everything was great… up until the waitress brought our food out in miniature hot air balloon’s. Apparently their scales are in dire need of recalibration, I’ve order a pound of crawfish on numerous occasions and had crawfish to spare. One piece of corn per pound of crawfish is a bit frugal 🤣 also “the boom” seasoning is laughable at best, not even worthy to be called “bland”. The food was so bad I wanted to tell our server to just find another job🤷🏾♂️ I was wondering, well Im 96% positive our food was microwaved considering it took our server 2mins to bring our order which you would think is a good thing. The 3 potatoes were not only under cooked they were as white as the undriven snow ⛄️ Absolutely NO FLAVOR I took a bite (realized this isn’t even done, cut the other two open to find snowballs.) My wife, ordered a half a pound of snow crab, it was so over cooked the meat shrank and was tough as a 60 year old Marine. At least they made sure to load the garlic butter with tons of garlic 👌🏾To the point that’s all you could taste 😭 other than that, the little piece of hers she shared which i was reluctant to even take, ( when I saw her food I didn’t think she even had enough to share) but it was flavorless as I expected well outside of hella garlic. If you’re a vampire DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL DIE from garlic inhalation. The crab shells were also extremely dexterous making it hard to crack. They have Calamari but no tentacles, glad I didn’t waste anymore money or time on trying it. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND FINDING ANYPLACE ELSE TO ENJOY YOUR SEAFOOD EXPERIENCE! When asked by my server “how my meal was” I told her it was horrible, she immediately asked me “ was it the crawfish ?” As if she knew something we didn’t. Read moreTonight I visited the "newest" Crafty Crab to celebrate my niece's birthday!!! The food was good, as usual, but what stood out the most in this visit was the customer service! Jackson created an excellent and memorable dining experience for my niece's birthday. He was knowledgeable of the menu and provided excellent recommendations when asked. He was very attentive, engaging and witty, and detaile-oriented; he made sure all special requests were satisfied in detail. The thing that stood out the most was his ability to be extremely attentive without being intrusive, which can prove to be a difficult balance for both new and seasoned servers/waiters to master. Jackson understands the assignment!!!!
As for management, actually I should say leadership, because Carrie isn't just a manager, she's a true leader. Carrie has put together a great team...the synergy and camaraderie among them is evident! It's obvious she cares about her people and setting them up for success, and they care about and respect her. They help each other and have each other's back. Great leaders have an eye for talent and they know how to nurture, motivate and inspire their team to get the best from them. No matter the job or industry...those leadership skills translate!

During my recent visit to the Crafty Crab on Capital Circle NE in Tallahassee, FL, I witnessed the General Manager publicly berate an employee named Tiffany in front of customers and staff. She was loud, rude, and incredibly disrespectful. Her tone and behavior were completely out of line for someone in a leadership position.
As a customer, it was uncomfortable and unprofessional to witness. If I had been the employee, I likely would have walked out then and there. No one deserves to be spoken to that way especially not in front of an audience.
I also want to take a moment to applaud Tiffany for the way she handled the situation. Despite being spoken to so harshly, she remained calm, composed, and professional. Her grace under pressure did not go unnoticed, and she deserves recognition for maintaining her dignity in such a difficult moment.
The food was amazing, but the behavior of the General Manager completely overshadowed the dining experience. This kind of public humiliation is unacceptable and should be addressed immediately. Management should set the tone for the workplace not tear others down in front...
