Firestone Complete Auto Care — Local services in Tallahassee

I have to say that I was skeptical on going to Firestone with some issues that I was having with my vehicle. I have had multiple bad experiences with other Firestone locations and was afraid of running into similar issues. However, that was not the case at all at this location.

I had been to several other places in town and no one had been able to help me. Finally, their sister store, (Tires Plus) directed me to them when they did not have time to look at my vehicle - for a second time. I hesitated initially and explained my concerns to the manager when I arrived.

From the very start, this location offered the most professional service I've had in quite some time. They found the problem almost immediately and offered solutions.

I have an extended warranty on my vehicle and they worked tirelessly to get the adjuster out and get the claim pushed through as quickly as possible. There was a discrepancy on the amount that was owed once the work was complete and they called the warranty company and settled the matter within about 30 minutes. In the end, I owed less than originally anticipated.

Overall, I was extremely pleased with the service I received and will definitely be going back for maintenance, or if I run into any other issues with my car...

Took my car here for an oil change and check on 12/26/24. They told me that my brakes and rotors were shot and quoted me $700. My dad said that was outrageously priced, so we just stuck with doing the oil change. I was on a 6 hour drive the next day when my check engine light came on, so I pulled over. Oil was streaming out of my car, and I was forced to get it towed the rest of the way. I took it to another Firestone in SW Florida were they told me that the oil plug was not put on correctly, and I was lucky that my engine didn't blow up. They also told me that my brakes and rotors were in great shape, and the Tallahassee Firestone was just trying to get money out of me. We called the Tallahassee Firestone to tell them about that happened, and they agreed to refund the oil change, extra oil I purchased, and the towing fees. It is now 2/4/25, and I still have not received the check. Dustin has been playing the games and giving us the run around when he should be happy to fix his mistakes and grateful that he is not having to replace my whole engine. DO NOT COME HERE. i took my car here a few months ago to address several issues that i am still dealing with. they told me that the issues (struggling to accelerate, idling) was a result of faulty spark plugs, and the car was still having the same problems, so i brought it back where i was told that it was likely the catalytic converter, a much pricier fix. additionally, i had asked them to fix my car horn because they had forgotten the last time (they said they fixed it) and when i came back, i was told that the horn was fixed. it was not. i honestly lost track of how many times i had to go back for the same reason(s), but i have paid as much to firestone in maintenance as i have paid for the car itself. to his credit, dustin was always very kind, patient, and helpful, but i have no choice but to believe that the store itself was taking my money knowing that they were not fixing any problems i had with my car. seeing as the only noticeable difference is that it starts up with a LITTLE less resistance, i can’t say that i recommend going to this location or firestone in general. i would love to see some money back, but a...
