Glory Days Grill — Restaurant in Tallahassee

I really hate to give negative reviews. I rather just not go anymore, but I have to do this review! So on last week (6/15/23) I went to Glory Days for the third time since they've been open in hopes to enjoy a meal. The hostess greeted me at the door and let me know that she'd be right with me once she seat the guest that was ahead of me. (5 stars) On the way to the table she started a conversation and took pride in seating me. Then along comes my server Darius with a big friendly smile introducing himself and asking could he start me off with a drink? (5 Stars) After bring my drink he took my order and answered the questions that I had about my selection. As he was serving other customers he noticed my glass was about empty and brought another drink without even asking did I want another Arnold Palmer ( 5 more stars for him) Then the moment went left after experiencing a great hostess and a great server. The person that brought my food out greeted me with a smile and let me know that this is my order. (5 stars) Then she dropped one of my wings by accident on the table. (I wasn't mad cause accidents happen) She apologized and told me she'd be right back to pick it up. I'm thinking she went to grab a rag or napkin. When she returned she picked the wing up and put in on my plate that I was eating out of. (All STARS FOR HER LOST!) I told her how nasty that was and that I didn't even want the food no more. She said oh and walked away. When I seen Darius I caiihis attention and told him what happened. He apologized and sent for a a whole note plate and the person that brought it out apologized. (5 stars) This made me feel like if food fell on the floor it would still be served and that makes me not want to return! I just had my fiance a birthday dinner there in May and attended a birthday dinner there a while back and really enjoyed the service, but my last visit really turned me off ! I had requested a to go cup of ice and as I pored my water in the cup and began to sip. I noticed a big was in it. I'm really disappointed because the customer service has always been good, but one bad apple can spoil the bunch! This young lady needs to be retrained and reminded of how nasty it is to put food back on a plate that has fell off rather it fell on the table or the floor! My whole appetite was ruined I had just had surgery two weeks prior and had worked up a appetite and that definitely killed it! I got the replacement to go and honestly gave it away when I left the restaurant because I had no appetite. Sorry for this review...

Went Friday 9/30/22 Party of 8 Our family had came to our house because of the Southwest Florida hurricane damaged their house. We went to Glory days. Received our drinks and ordered buffalo nachos and they were dry and hardly any cheese no cilantro at all and very little chicken nothing like they pictured. So we ate salsa and chips. Food came for two people for the group and six of us waited for our food. Over 10 minutes later one steak medium rare came and the the black side of it we could tell it was not cooked right cut it and it was completely cooked all the way through . Sent it back. While waiting for our food the waitress said they were cooking baked potatoes and it would be 20 minutes and did we want to wait. Said she could give us regular loaded smashed potatoes. We said yes. Still waiting for food it finally came. Smashed potatoes were very powerful garlic potatoes, (I can’t have garlic glad my daughter tasted first)to powerful to eat we ask for baked potatoes we figured well they should be about done we had seen baked potatoes coming out for other people. We finished our steak and the two that got served had finished eating. My son had chicken tenders that were so crusty he could bite down on them and he’s 30 years old. Way over cooked. His and another members broccoli was way over cooked it had a brownish tone and no seasoning at all. One of the Redfin fish was excellent and the other Redfin fillet was burn and dry. Wings were good. Steak needed more seasoning little blah. Waited for the waitress to bring ranch for the wings after asking twice finally came but was done with the wings. We finally got our baked potatoes. I think she forgot. Waited for another beer and soda order but never came. Had finished our food paid and left. The waitress heard our complaints but never once said anything. Just walked away. We thought we had found a good place to eat but never again never will we...

A group of 12 of us came to eat here on a Friday night. We sat on the patio next to a party of 20. Pretty much everything about our experience was bad. The manager introduced herself in the beginning as she was helping set up the 20 party table. However we ended up being there for 4 hours, and that wasn't because we wanted to be. That's literally how long it took. For some reason they gave us a new server who just started and no help. He had a really hard time taking our orders - having to ask each of us to repeat ourselves not only at the time we ordered, but also at the end when it was time to print the bills. When we first sat down they didn't bring enough silverware and they didn't even bring water when we asked for it for the whole table. We ordered drinks, which each time they took 30 minutes to come back to the table with. Our food took an hour and a half to come out and almost everyone's order had something wrong with it. Most dishes were missing whatever type of sauce was supposed to come with it. Salads had no dressing, regular fries instead of sweet potato fries, no sauce with the bowls that were ordered, missing fries, etc. On top of that, when we asked for the sauce and missing items, it took another 30 minutes for them to bring it back out, and some things they still forgot to bring out. Through all of this, the manager never came to check on us. When it was finally time for the bill, that took another 30-45 minutes to bring out after we had to go look for the server and ask for it. Yes, this was a Friday night, but the restaurant was not packed at any point while we were there. Also, the 20 top next to us got there after us and was still able to leave before us.
