Read moreWent to this establishment this past weekend around 11:30pm. We are regulars and know line dancing lasts until 11:00pm. When we got there, they were still line dancing so we waited until there was a break. Once the floor cleared of line dancers, I got out to dance to hip-hop music. Within minutes, line dancers returned to start line dancing again. I continued to dance to HIP HOP music while the line dancers did COUNTRY line dance moves. However, security came over and asked me to get off the floor since I was not “line dancing”. I refused, exclaiming that maybe I was just a terrible dancer. A second security had to be called over, where I again refused to get off the floor. Then a third security came over to officially kick me off the floor and out of the bar. I was really making a stand for all the people that were waiting for the country line dancers to get off the floor (the number waiting was higher then the number of line dancers at that time). The bar needs to follow their own timing rules or they will lose clientele. The floor is really too small and eventually someone is going to get hurt with line dancing outside of the advertised hours. Also the business and owner are potentially opening themselves up for lawsuits.
PS I’ve even taken the line dance lessons offered here without any problems, and would recommend...

Please bring back line dancing music — I want to keep loving this place. I really, really do. It’s even weirder because the DJ seems to be the same guy it’s always been....
