Luigi's Brick Oven Pizzeria — Restaurant in Tamaqua

I hate to leave this horrible review because their pizza is the BEST but 3 times I've had extremely bad experiences with food we've ordered. 1st was dirty romaine lettuce that clearly wasn't washed,called to let them know, was given a credit but when I called a week later no one knew what I was talking about!!!! About 6 months later decided to order pizza and cheesesteaks, found hair in the cheesesteak!!! Call to let them know and they were extremely RUDE! Said they would refund my credit card but it would take up to a week or more for it to show up...refund would be 39.50 and charged my card a second time for the pizza!!! So a total of 59.50 was charged to my card!!! Never got the refund again NO ONE KNEW what I was talking about! 3rd time get a chef salad and there's a long piece of black hair in it!!!!!!! Call up and was told, we wear hair net...LIE! No one here has long black hair...AGAIN A LIE!!! We will refund your money to the card! I decided to take the salad back personally and get my refund in my hand!! Funny thing person at the counter has black hair and isn't wearing a hair net!!!! Owner should NOT be in customer service. My family stopped here after the park dor food to go. My husband and brother in law stayed outside with the kids and i went in to place the orders. I ordered my brother in laws food first. And mine second. When we sat down to eat at home we were missing my brother in laws ENTIRE order. Owner was not listening to me about my problem and insisted i had only been missing a slice. (Not true)

Well i go back in person and we look at order tickets. Because the cashier did not take MY (the second order) correctly i did not receive a part of my brother in laws order. And didnt get the slice in his order because well IDK. They just forgot? So her mistake ruined 2 customer meals. And i wanted the money back but owner rudely kept talking over me and acting as if its my fault my orders were a mess. He only wanted to refund the slice. Ended up leaving so angry and telling him to keep him his effing refund. Worst customer service i have ever seen. Hard to want to go back to the pizza shop let alone the town. Doesnt help...

Would give it no stars but it did not give me a option! Let me start off by saying I use to love this place but not anymore! I went in there today to get pizza, well as I am waiting there was a new face working and I can tell she was distraught by being too overwhelmed! There was a older couple that walked in and gave her a attitude when clearly she was new and still figuring it all out and on top of it she simply asked her Trainer for help due to just knowing everything cause she is new and she got a rude attitude! She has also went to her manager about it and got shut out! If this is the way the staff treat a new fellow employee then they deserve no stars! What a disgusting place you have and staff! Will never return...
