Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Tamarac

I tried a flamethrower burger combo and small brookie blizzard today as well as bought a number 1 combo for my mother and another small brookie blizzard and an order of pretzel bites with zesty queso dip to share.

I ordered from the drive though around 5:50 PM. I had no one in front of me so no wait to place my order.

The fries were small and the brookie blizzard did not live up to the hype and was not super thick like it's supposed to be. The two meals, 2 small blizzards and one order of zesty queso pretzels cost a bit more than I expected.

That being said, the rest of the meal was superb. The flamethrower and pretzels with queso dip were delicious and it was so filling that it absolutely did not matter that the fries were small. The burger was big enough that I couldn't finish my meal. (And I was starving because I was so busy that I hadn't eaten anything all day).

The burger was smokey and savory and had just the right kick of spiciness. The meat tasted flamebroiled, seared and juicy like it just came off of a charcoal barbeque grill. Not too much and not too little fresh onions and lettuce. Bacon was nice and crispy. The pretzels were soft and warm and buttery, perfectly salted, paired so well with the zesty cheesy dip. They were kind enough to make my soda as I requested with half Dr. Pepper and half cherry coke with light ice and topped with a cherry.

The woman taking my order was polite, patient and accommodating as I added to my initial order, not once but twice while at the window after already paying for my initial order. Everything together, I was able to drive away with my order complete, correct, hot and smelling oh-so-good in under 8 minutes.

All in all, I was very satisfied with my visit today and my mother enjoyed her meal...

The worst experience of my life!!! Terrible lady at the drive thru. I ordered from postmates, which messed up my order. I drive up here and wait 20 minutes in line. By the time I pull up to the window and explain them how the wrong food was delivered to me, they were EXTREMELY RUDE. They didn’t listen to what I wanted and ignored me and said they’ll make me new sandwiches. WHICH THEY MESSED UP AGAIN AFTER I WAS AT THE WINDOW FOR ANOTHER 15 minutes because they didn’t LISTEN to me in the first place. Then I tell them they need to remake it for a THIRD TIME and I’ve been waiting way too long for this because they keep giving me the wrong items over and over again. At this point the fries are ice cold. After nearly 45 minutes at the drive thru they rudely hand me my food. I ask them for a drink ( the drink I ordered through postmates was at home and probably watered down after an hour wait). This incredibly RUDE WOMAN refused to give me a drink. Literally after an hour of waiting she has the audacity to not give me a new drink. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!! This is not the first time THIS LOCATION MESSED UP OUR ORDER SND HAD US WAITING. ITS EVERY SINGLE TIME. Disgusting customer service, they are rude to customers and don’t care at all. 1 Star...

This is our local DQ.We pulled up to the window to place our order. Which went ok except listening to loud laughter coming from the background. There was a car in front of us so we knew we had a short wait.Well,the car in front of us obviously knew the girls servicing the window. So we waited and then waited some more.Only to witness them laughing and exchanging banter with the people in the car.Tbey finally left didn't purchase anything only to keep us waiting for no reason.We finally got to the window to get our order.Paid peed around and checked our order. No surprise. It was missing one Blizzard.Ordered 3 received 2 in the bag.Sent my nephew who is 23 back in with the receipt only for them to say they gave us our order of 3.Well by this time I and my sister were quite pissed.She went back in with the bag with 2 of to then find out they made one of the orders wrong.Oh by the way way we paid for 3 Blizzards OK enough said.I guess our local DQ will have either need to find better help or Carvel will become our local ice cream choice.Hope this helps in making your restaurant and ice cream parlor a place we want...
