Pizza was a good size for the price, and the flavor was great. Wonderful nostalgic atmosphere inside.
Did request light bake on both pizzas yet one turned out crispy and charred while the other turned out how we expected. Weird that both of these didn't at least come out similarly.
We also ordered ahead to save time, assuming we could still eat in (like most pizza places) yet we were met with confusion and attitude when we checked in and said we ordered ahead. If it was busy and if we were simply explained that they don't allow eating in for pre-orders, we'd have no issue taking it to go to make room for others who wanted to be waited on. But instead, we were met with blank stares and given plates to sit down with little communication and a feeling that we weren't wanted there. Our friend who then wanted to add on a couple items to the order (salad and cheese sticks, not anything that would take a while) was given some trouble when ordering more, and then after 20min of waiting we asked about the cheese sticks, which were brought out shortly after, charred to a crisp. When the cheese sticks were brought out we promptly packed up to leave.
It hurts my heart to leave a lower review for such a local spot, but hoping this feedback gets back to someone who can make a simple change on the website or at least at the front door to make it clear that to dine-in you must order in-person, wait, and be waited on by a server. Hoping to be able to...
Read moreThe pizza wasn't the greatest. Like chewing on card board. The customer service was terrible. I waited like 35 minutes before being seated. However my waitress was very sexy and bubbly. What guy doesn't like that. However it is more of a kid oriented place so she could have keeped that in mind. No bra and lots of skin. I liked it however totally inappropriate. They have a mini arcade there out side seating which is very nice. There bathrooms where surprisingly clean. Especially with kids running around. It's only 2 blocks from the Red Star Rock Bar which is where I started my evening. It's a nice strip to walk down. They have a train running above the walls and lots n lots of historic memorabilia as shown in my pictures. Each table has a different trivia pursuit cards. The booths are made of wood with no cushions and straight backs so seating is uncomfortable. They do have different beer there in a stand up cooler with glass doors. Its a help your self service. I believe they have cider as well. I do give this place 2 stars rather than 1 because it's cool and the bathrooms are clean. However if you want delicious pizza then keep looking cause you won't find it here. If you want to take your kids somewhere other than chucky cheese then this place is a...
Read moreMy wife and I have been long-time customers of this location and really enjoy the pizza. But I placed an order through Uber Eats tonight and had a really bad experience. My wife went to pick up our order and they claimed to not have received an order for "Nick." After some back and forth over the phone with me trying to troubleshoot with UberEats, she placed the exact same order in person and waited for some time for the new order to be prepared. After she left, I received a call from the restaurant asking if I was coming to pick up the order. I relayed the above story to the person on the phone who said that my wife never gave the name "Nicholas." I was a bit taken aback, speechless and, frankly, a bit frustrated. I was met with a rude, dismissive response before I was promptly hung up on after I relayed that I would not be picking up the order. I don't think I was particularly rude, and I made no demand for a refund during this call (nor was any solution offered), and I feel that the response was unjustified and out of proportion to the issue. This was extremely disappointing as we have been coming here for years and honestly don't want...
