Had the best time at Cats and Caffeine, the hour we booked flew by!! We came in around 6pm on Saturday so most of the kittens were tuckered out but towards the last thirty minutes of our hour a lot of them perked back up to play. Either way we loved every minute getting to pet, love on and entertain all the adorable kittens and cats here! All of them are gentle and sweet and I was shocked at how chill and relaxed the vibes were.
When we came in the girls working were so nice and let everyone know to rotate so every person could get a chance to interact with different kittens which I loved. My worry was that some people coming would be too attached to one cat and not let anyone else pet or play with them but it was not the case here.
My other big surprise was how sensory friendly it was. They don’t play any music and the people who come in are quiet and relaxed just like the kittens (at least they were for our session I’m not sure if all sessions are the same given everyone is fairly different). The girls working there told us the names of the cats and gave us some information on what cat is related to who and some of their personalities. They’ve even got sheets where you can write future kitten name suggestions!
There is also no smell and the place is kept sparkling clean! I swear I barely saw any cat hair on the floor!
We didn’t get any food but I did order the dragonfruit mango refresher and it was delicious!!! Overall this was such a fun experience and a lovely little hour of kitten therapy. I’d recommend this to anyone who loves cats or is looking to adopt and would like a much more relaxed atmosphere to do so!
If we do decide to adopt we will for sure come back to Cats...
Read moreCame here with a friend! The price to enter the cafe isn’t super high. I wouldn’t recommend twice in a row. The cats they have are there till adoption, so if you’re looking for kittens, they have an abundance. They also have a few adult cats as well!
I think my experience is a little different from others, but staff did tell us to rotate between groups of cats so everyone has a chance to pet cute little felines.
It wasn’t necessarily the case for us. There were two girls who are cat hogs near the booth area of the cafe. Surprisingly, it was also where most of the kittens were located. The two girls did not move from their spot the entire hour, which was really frustrating, and staff made no motion to advise them to rotate to other parts of the cafe.
My friend and I were particularly interested in the Siamese cats, because she wanted to see their temperament and friendliness before considering a potential adoption. But we couldn’t even get a glance at them because the cat hogs were blatantly covering the cats entirely 🥲
I wouldn’t recommend this place because the staff didn’t really enforce rotation on cats, especially for potential adopters. They were pretty nonchalant about my request since the cat was already pending for adoption. Then again, we weren’t there to adopt on the spot, but to just pet the cats and see how they are in general.
I would only recommend this place if you’re interested in a cat cafe, wouldn’t recommend for potential adopters on specific breeds.
If you’re on the market for a specific breed, I suggest contacting local shelters first. 🥰 or participating in the pet...
Read moreI cannot recommend visiting this cat cafe enough. First of all the cats are ADORABLE, but the staff here is so friendly and so helpful and made adopting my first kittens the best experience possible. After being weary about past experiences adopting, My boss adopted her kitten from them and had an amazing experience and reccomended that I visit and I am so glad I did. My first time in I ended up putting in an application for an adorable little orange cat, and got a quick response back the very next day that I was approved for adoption. After visiting my kitten who was not ready to go home just yet, I ended up putting an application in for a second kitten who was a little Siamese and got approved the very next day as well. I am 22 years old, and my boyfriend and I own a house together and were so excited to welcome 2 new fur babies into the mix to complete out little family and we are so happy to have taken them home today. I cannot thank Sherry enough for making this such a positive experience for us, as she was so helpful, quick to respond, and obviously extremely passionate about making sure these kittens are healthy and get the homes they deserve. Sherry has also been extremely communicative with us making this a stress free process. Every person that works there has been so kind towards us and I will definitely be back to visit. I am grateful to be apart of the Cats and...
