One of the standout features of The Blind Goat is their phenomenal bingo night. Trust me, this isn't your grandma's bingo. The excitement in the air is palpable as soon as you walk in. ORIGINAL: First off let me start with the positives. The specials arenāt bad, there are plenty of TVs, and the food isnāt bad. Now on to what matters. The service can only be summed up as abysmal. My groupās first round of drinks was fine, but from that point onward the quality of service went quickly downhill. After taking our first order, the only time the server returned was to deliver our food. Aside from that we had to go to the bar to get drinks despite there not being a large crowd at all. When we finally decided weād had enough and were ready to leave, we asked our server about one of the several issues on one of the checks from our party. The server became very rude at being questioned and said āif you donāt like it, leave a review,ā so here I am. After this we asked if weād like to speak to a manager. Not only did he never get the manager, when we went back over to ask again to speak to a manager, he pointed to the kitchen and said āsheās in there.ā
Below are a list of the issues that we wanted to address with the manager but never had the opportunity to do so given that she was in the kitchen: the two doubles we ordered were charged twice (as both regular drinks and as a double drinks), we were charged for things we did not ask for (such as celery as an add on to wings when saying we did not want celery), and were not charged the advertised price for one of the specials on the menu. All minor issues that could've been resolved had the customer service been better which would have made the experience exponentially...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have frequented the blind goat several times over the last 4 years with friends and kids after school on Fridays. We always stay outside and we are sure to order drinks/food and tip well. Tonight there was no one outside so we (us and other families) took the outside space and allowed the kids to play while we hung out and supervised. A male server immediately came out and took the pool sticks away from our kids and then when he delivered food, he didnāt say a word to us and rolled his eyes when we asked him to set it down on the table. Feeling unwelcome- we obviously told the kids to play somewhere else and stay away from the pool table. After another 30 minutes or so, still being the only people outside- the server came out and told us the kids were unwelcome. We packed up and left. Worst experience Iāve had here after many Friday nights with kids. This is NOT a kids-free establishment and it was 430 pm, not 9. We will...
