This is a super tough review to write. Seems like the kind of place that only cares about the regulars. We had a table of 8. No server. Had to go to bar to order drinks and food. They gave me a number after taking my credit card. They have a good selection of beer, made locally. The food was brought to the table by what we thought was a waitress but she dropped the food and left. Nobody ever came back to see if we needed anything or if the food was correct, hot, good or not. Here's the rub. As much as I didn't care for their process, the wedge salad with chicken was fantastic. Might have been one of the best salads I've ever had. Problem is, they lost me with the "do it yourself" restaurant experience. Nobody greeted me. I had to find my group on my own, which wasn't that big of a deal but having to wait on myself wasn't my idea of a good time. The staff seemed somewhat pretentious yet in the category of hipsters. And those hipsters only cared about the other hipsters who came in. So That's Where It's tricky for me because I tend to spend my money in a place where I'm welcomed, the food is good, is a comfortable place to sit, and the service is good. So they got one out of four from my hard-earned money. The seating is not comfortable. It is a Warehouse with solid surface flooring and the level of noise, reverberation, and lack of Acoustics make it incredibly uncomfortable overall. So with this level of description, possibly this sort of culinary entertainment appeals to certain people. Obviously they have remained open. Just not...

This review is not a reflection on Coppertail's Servers/Bartenders, Beers or Food. We LOVE going to Coppertail and always have a great experience in this establishment. Beers are GREAT and the Food is catered through Stein & Vine, who we absolutely LOVE!

The reason I'm leaving this review is because we love this place so much that we were hoping to have a private event here. We were hoping to have a private dinner with open bar in the upstairs loft, for the end of the year. First, we tried to fill out an online inquiry. Once we didn't hear back we called the brewery and even stopped in for dinner to see if there was somebody we could chat with about this. We were given the card to an Events Coordinator and without hesitation we called and texted her number right away.

It has been 2, going on 3 weeks of absolutely no communication. We have continued to call, email and text, hoping that our persistence would encourage an answer however we have yet to hear back. Since we were hoping to have this private event in December, getting some sort of confirmation is extremely time sensitive due to the holidays and especially since we have people traveling from out of state.

Needless to say, as much as we love Coppertail, we had no choice but to book our event elsewhere. I'm not going to say, 'we'll never go back' we still love their brews & food, however we were extremely, extremely disappointed at their staff's lack of communication and willingness to...

We hosted my dad's 70th surprise birthday at Coppertail Brewing, and rented out the loft for 3 hours. Alexis, the event coordinator, was so helpful with all my questions, and helping to plan the event. She was very quick to respond over email as well, which made the planning so much easier. We had about 50 guests, and the venue was perfect (although it can hold a lot more). Everyone loved the catering we ordered. Fan favorites were the deviled eggs, french onion dip, pork taco bar, and BBQ flatbread. Portion sizes were very good as well! Coppertail didn't have a food and beverage minimum either on the day and venue that we reserved, although their prices were very fair (and I reached out to about 8 different breweries and venues). The staff that helped out the day of the event was wonderful as well. There was never a wait at the bar, the food buffet was always replenished, they helped with set-up for the projector and mic, and even packaged up the catering leftovers so that we could take everything home. If you're looking to throw an event, small or large, definitely reach out to Alexis and her team at Coppertail Brewing. We received so many compliments the following day about how much fun everyone had and the entire evening went...

Delicious Beer with Interesting Flavor Choices!

Stopped in here on our way to a concert. This place is super cool. Awesome ambiance, great beer and great service. My wife and I went with some friends who aren’t really big beer drinkers and they loved it as well. My wife and I both ordered flights and I tried the Abyssal Black IPA, Chocolate Stout, Dunk Dunkel Lager, and Gingerbread Stout. I liked all of them but the gingerbread stout was my favorite! I also thought that it was cool that they collaborated with Deadwords Brewing to make the Black IPA. That is one of my favorite breweries in Orlando. My wife ordered the boiled peanuts and she said they did a Phenomenal job on those. I had to take her word for it because I don’t care for boiled peanuts and she is kind of a boiled peanuts connoisseur. Haha. I ordered the loaded waffle fries with pulled pork and they were ridiculous! I would definitely get them again. After we were full we tabbed out and bought some merch. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Tampa! If you are around this brewery and love beer you have to stop in. You won’t regret it! Cheers!

Spacious place with a friendly atmosphere to go for a night out with friends! I'm not too much of a beer drinker - but they had good options such as ciders and wines for people who enjoy the sweeter drinks like me and some of my friends. I'm definitely more for food than drinks, and they have a good number of dishes you can snack on while you try their assortment of handcrafted beers. The few times I've come here, I always get the loaded tots because they're very filling and customizable to your liking. Also pretty affordable ($4-$10) depending on how you top them! I also tried the fish dip the last time I was here, and it tasted fresh and not too salty. But, it wasn't too far from a fancy dish of tuna and crackers. The service was quick, and bartenders were very nice in letting you sample the different beers before choosing which one you wanted. Also, lots of seating so convenient for large groups, but the parking lot is small so most of time you'll have to park in the dirt/grass area across the street.
