Let me set the scene— I’ve never been to Dutch Bros, but always craved it. Since I just moved near one, I had to finally give it a try. First impression: the setup is interesting. They’ve got a drive-through that runs almost like a Chick-fil-A line— with ā€œrunnersā€ outside taking orders and keeping things moving at a steady pace. Still, I wanted some time with the menu, so I parked and walked up to the counter on the other side. It feels more like an ice cream stand than a coffee shop— no indoor seating, just a walk-up window. To keep it simple, I went with a caramel latte for my first taste. The wait was a little longer than expected, but the girl at the window was super sweet and even helped me narrow down what to order. Also, quick shoutout— the inside looked spotless, and the fact it was an all-girl staff was honestly pretty cool to see. Now, the downside… my $6 latte was watery. Super thin coffee, barely any espresso flavor. I was told I should add a double shot, but honestly— why should I have to pay extra just to taste the coffee? My sister got a matcha, and it seemed like they only stirred in powder for color, not actual flavor. Both drinks felt more like ā€œimitationsā€ than the real thing. I was so bummed because I went in really excited. I think Dutch Bros might be more about their specialty drinks, shakes, or energy drinks. But when it comes to coffee, it tasted like a cheaper knock-off version, in my opinion, which was disappointing.

Hi there, I just wanted to share some feedback from my recent visit. I ordered a medium iced Rebel with light ice (which came out to around $7). In the past, when I’ve ordered light ice, my drink has always been filled to the top This time, though, the drink I received had what looked like the regular amount of ice, not light, and it wasn’t filled to the top. I went back and politely asked if it could just be filled the rest of the way since I didn’t know that when you get light ice it’s not filled to the top and they said they could — but that I’d have to be charged extra. I totally understand policies, but I was just really caught off guard. I’ve never been told before that choosing light ice your drink won’t be filled to the top. For a $7 drink, that feels a little frustrating. I would’ve appreciated a heads-up so I could decide before ordering. Which every time I’ve ordered in the past this has never happened they should just let you know so you’re not surprised when you receive your drink. I left a photo of my drink no sips taken out of it yet. Thanks for listening, and I really do love coming here — just wanted to share my experience.

I totally get the hype! I arrived around 10:30am on a weekday, and there were already 2 lines of cars formed. It wasn't quite out to the street yet. Thankfully! There was a policeman parked near the drive-thru entrance. I can only assume he is there to direct street traffic since Dutch Bros is still kind of new. The line actually was very orderly, and went rather quickly. It was my first time visiting. I already knew what I wanted. I ordered the Cocomo from the Dutch Faves and added the soft top. I loved it! The only thing I would nix next time is the soft top. It doesn't really add anything to the drink. Maybe a little creaminess? But hey, the Cocomo flavor was spot on. The name even sounds tropical & beachy. The muffin top was also a hit. It has a ton of cranberries and orange pieces. I keep thinking of the Seinfeld episode. Elaine was right. The muffin top is the best part. The lovely broista (their term, not mine) told me to try the chocolate chip one next time. I'm all in! Do not pass this place up if you're near MacDill AFB or Gandy. It looks like this will now be a part of a routine visit to the base.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 STARS ARE NOT ENOUGH FOR THIS ABSOLUTE MADNESS AT DUTCH BROS IN TAMPA! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Listen up, Google Fam, because I just survived the most INSANE, OVER-THE-TOP, UNHINGED EXPERIENCE of my LIFE at Dutch Bros in Tampa, and I’m still buzzing harder than a beehive on a sugar high! This place isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a FULL-ON PARTY ZONE where the employees are basically superhuman rays of sunshine with energy levels that could power a small city! I rolled up to the drive-thru like a regular human, and OH MY GOSH, these baristas greeted me with the kind of enthusiasm that made me question if I’d accidentally stumbled into a Broadway musical starring caffeinated unicorns! They were YELLING my name with JOY, high-fiving the air, and tossing compliments like confetti—FRIENDLINESS ON STEROIDS, PEOPLE! Now, let’s talk about the DRINKS, because holy moly, they handed me a masterpiece I can’t even spell (something like ā€œIced Strawberry Matcha Latte Extra Sweet with Strawberry Soft Top + Extra Strawberry Fruitā€??? I don’t know, but it was a PINK-GREEN EXPLOSION OF FLAVOR that tasted like a strawberry field and a matcha forest had a love child and then dumped a sugar galaxy on top—DIVINE MADNESS!). And then there was the Iced Latte Decaf with Oat Milk—smooth, creamy, decaf perfection that hugged my soul and whispered, ā€œYou’re enough.ā€ BOTH DRINKS WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the fact that they crafted this magic WHILE dancing and hyping each other up in the background is NEXT-LEVEL COMMITMENT! The drive-thru itself? AN EXPERIENCE! These employees leaned out the window with grins so wide I thought their faces might split, handing me my drinks like they were presenting the Holy Grail. They threw in a ā€œHAVE AN AMAZING DAY, YOU ROCKSTAR!ā€ that echoed in my heart for hours. I left feeling like I’d just been knighted by the Caffeine Royalty of Tampa. This wasn’t just service—it was a LIFE-AFFIRMING SPECTACLE! If you’re not hauling your butt to Dutch Bros in Tampa ASAP, you’re MISSING OUT on the wildest, friendliest, most over-the-top vibe this side of the galaxy. 10/10, would get my soul recharged by these radiant humans again! šŸš—šŸ’Øā˜•ļøšŸŽ‰ #DutchBrosTampa #CoffeeChaos #FriendlinessOverload...

Visited for the first time today. Their system for taking drive through orders could use some refining. While they have multiple people taking orders, none of them have menus on them. They have menus online, but many of the drinks online were not available in store so there’s no way of knowing what their offerings are until you place your order or see the menu that’s posted at the location. I asked to wait until I got to the order menu so I could take a look at the menu and they were hesitant in allowing me to do that. I thought that was strange. Again, this is my first time visiting so I really didn’t see the harm in accommodating this request, especially considering pretty much all drive thrus have readily available menus.

The guy who ended up taking my order was aggressive and kept rushing me to place an order. He seemed annoyed and more concerned with moving the drive thru along than providing a good customer experience. I was simply trying to figure out what I wanted. As I was considering between 2 drinks he started walking away and confirming that I wanted both drinks when I wasn’t finished ordering. While I understand they likely have drive thru timers it was very off putting. Hence why the people taking orders should have menus on them especially when you have to wait an upwards of 10-15 minutes before you make it to the window.

I ordered a sugar free drink and when I got it, there’s no way the syrups they used were SF as they tasked like regular caramel. I suspect they likely got my order wrong. Considering how rushed the server was, I wasn’t surprised. I ended up tossing it because I didn’t feel like going back and waiting yet again. As far as taste, it’s pretty much on par with Dunkin but nearly double the price.

I looked at a few other reviews online and several expressed similar concerns. Not sure if I’ll be back but thought I’d provide some feedback. As a first time customer it truly wasn’t a...
