As always I try to give this store the benefit of the doubt. It’s like I have to prepare myself and hope that whoever I interact with will be nice and professional. The lady who took my order initially was kind, the gentlemen at the window was as well. Oh but once I took my tenders back into the store because they gave me 3 instead of the 5 I ordered and paid for that’s when the attitude was given from the young rude woman and the female manager condoned it because she said nothing to step in and correct the action. The young lady asked me for my receipt (I’m guessing to prove I bought 5 instead of 3 tenders). I mean I was literally just at the drive thru. So I handed it to her. She looked at it and sat it down on the counter and gave me an uncomfortable stare and then put her other hand out as if I’m supposed to assume what she needs from me. So I grabbed my receipt off the counter and she walked off very rude and said nothing. The very kind gentleman who initially gave me my order at the window grabbed my other two tenders apologized and told me to have a good day! I don’t understand Popeyes and what they value or stand for anymore. The food is good when it’s fresh but the service and attitude of this location and many others has been horrible for as long as I can remember it. It’s like a curse has been placed over this location and many others. Is it in their handbook to be rude to customers for no apparent reason at all. They need to learn from Chick-fil-A seriously! Do these other companies not see how Chick-fil-A thrives. Customer service and consistency is key! As much as I don’t like sitting in the line for Chick-fil-A their service is always on point. I’m never really disappointed with them and I’m never ever made to feel bad over a mistake they have made. They apologize and correct it! With the positive growth that’s taken place in South Tampa can we vote to get rid of this place for good!! I guess I’ll fill out this survey and see if anything changes..I’ve really lost all hope and faith in...
Read moreI initially went to this Popeyes location on September 9th. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches because the third one was going to be free (over $10). I went to the location and the food was not ready yet at the drive through. The worker had me pull forward and waiting in my car. I waited 20+ minutes for my food to finally be ready. I get home and there is only 2 sandwiches in the bag. I then complained to support and was giving 600 credits on my account (which I believe is not satisfactory, because I had to wait so long and did not get the free sandwich- the whole meal should have been free). I then waited until today to use the Popeyes credits that were give to me, because I was honestly not wanting to deal with the awful customer service at this location. Today I made the mistake of ordering a sandwich with the 600 points I was given 2 months ago. It said it would be ready at 2 PM. I get to the drive through and the lady says "go park in the parking lot, I need to make your sandwich." It was 2:05 PM and the sandwich was supposed to be ready at 2 PM (the restaurant is not even busy, by the way). I circle the building and then park on the side of the drive through, where I am then yelled at by the window lady and told to go park in the parking lot. There are no spots- so I park in the handicap spot. After 10 minutes, I just leave without my food.
Extremely disappointed with Popeyes. This location needs to close it is actually a joke. It sucks because the food is really good but the customer service is abysmal.
This is BY FAR the worst managed fast-food restaurant I have ever had to deal with. I will NEVER...
Read moreI love Popeyes, but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. It started when my husband and I pulled up to the ordering booth because there was no line. There we were immediately told to wait. We sat there and waited for 5 minutes before someone finally took our order. Then we pulled to the window to pay and get our drinks, instead of getting our food at the window like usual, we were told to pull into a parking space and wait for someone to come out and give us our food. Something I noticed was that there were a lot of cars parked, but if you looked through the window, no one was actually eating in the restaurant. Fast forward 20 minutes, and we still had not been given our food. We were both annoyed at this point, and my husband decided to go inside to check out how our food was coming. Turns out that our server messed up our orders along with many other customers’ orders. There, my husband saw our meal sitting on the counter. My husband grabbed our meal and left. As we drove off, I checked our food in the bag. The cherry on top of this whole situation was the only sauce we ordered was the ranch, and there were about 6 packages of sauces in there. They had given us just about every type of sauce they had except for the ranch. This entire situation was irritating and disappointing. I expected this kind of service from McDonald’s. Safe to say it might be a while until my husband or myself will...
