Went for lunch and wanted to try the famous pork sandwich. As soon as I walk in I noticed no one at the counter to great us. They have this lady with short black hair that day attending the front and she was very rude with a lot of street attitude. We ordered guaranĆ, batido de mamey and 2 pork sandwichās. In my mind the pork sandwich would come out on toasted Cuban bread with lemon mojito and when I saw the sandwich in a foam container( mind you Iām dining in you would think they would put it on a plate with something on the side for the price) I was loss for words when I took a bit itās just all oil and fat no flavor no salt no mojo no lemon nothing!!! I could have made the sandwich at home much better. The guarapo tasted like frozen bits put in a blender ( was not fresh guarapo which you would think they would do I front of you never understood why the blender was on for a guarapo š¤) my batido de mamey was so thick and salty I couldnāt drink it and when I asked for a bit more milk to make it less thick they took 25 min gave everyoneās elseās order first then came out and had the nueve to tell me everyone likes it never had an issue and super attitude that I felt like I was talking to someone on the street. I mean you are suppose to your consumer happy regardless if you have to but your LENGUA! Cut place and everything but food cuality not great not much veriaty and all the deserts at least pasteles buƱuelos ext⦠all seemed burnt and made in old oil! Not sure but I would work on better customer service and food quality and adversity verses on how the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe atmosphere wasnāt bad but it wasnāt great either. Thereās plenty of space but itās just wasted space. No music or anything to view on their 65ā screen. The display of food is subpar and thereās no menu in sight. Then we get to the actual food, the pastries are mostly merengue and the breading isnāt moist, the flavor is lackluster, and it took 30 minutes to get two small pork sandwiches (displayed). The sandwiches had no flavor, old lettuce pieces that not even a fast food place would give you, the bread wasnāt fresh or toasted, and the porkā¦oh the porkā¦it looked great and as soon as I took a bite...š no flavor, no mojo, no salt, and quite the devastation. Great display on IG, but for $30 Iād rather go to...

The absolute best tasting freshest guava and merengue in the city. I go there once a week sometimes twice and absolutely love everything. The pork sandwiches so juicy and delicious. The ham croquettes are to die for. My favorite is the guava turnovers with cream cheese. They also have delicious Cuban bread and crackers. Trust me definitely worth the drive you wonāt be disappointed. The customer service is phenomenalā¦they are so nice and always greet you with a smile. Please donāt forget the...
