Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Tampa

If I could give 0 stars I would horrible treatment on the phone!!! I called and made my order on the phone and they said everything was fine to wait 40 min to and hour and I waited more then an hour and called nicely to ask if everything was ok and the young lady on the phone said that the call center never put the order in and that there was nothing she could do about it she was very defensive for no reason and never apologized to me for the inconvenience! So then she told me that at 8 they stop taking cash orders and I told her then in that case I would have been told and asked her to put my order in again and then she said very rudely I’m waiting for you card number now and I said I’m I don’t want to give my card number on the phone because I don’t trust here and she said well then I can’t make the order again very rudely I said at this point it should be free she said a bunch of very defensive things I ask if there was a manager I could speak to she said no you can’t speak to anyone! Like what type of service is this?! I have company over all the time so I would order from this location at least a couple of times per week. One time I noticed they forgot to season the crust, but I didn't complain because everyone makes mistakes from time to time. So the next time I called and placed an order, I mentioned "Please don't forget to season the crust.. last time you did." The guys said okay. So I picked up the pizzas and forgot to check them (retarded me). Got home and sure enough, the crust wasn't seasoned again. I still didn't make a complaint. So the next time I called them, I said "Please don't forget to season the crust this time, the last TWO times you did." The guy said "Okay we won't forget." This time it was delivered to me, and I checked it and sure enough, THEY FORGOT AGAIN! I called them and asked to have a discount on my next order and THEY ACTUALLY SAID NO! I recently had an exceptional experience at my local Hungry Howie's, and I felt compelled to share it. After facing a frustrating situation where DoorDash never picked up our order, I turned to the store in hopes of finding a solution. The manager was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond by remaking our entire order from scratch. The dedication to customer service was evident, and within no time, we had hot and fresh food ready to go.

This location has always been my go-to for pizza, and today's experience only solidified my loyalty. The food is consistently top-notch, and I've never had a bad meal. Plus, the speed of service is great.
