Racism is alive and well at Isaac's University Mall location. We placed our order at the counter. We sat and waited. After 15 minutes I stood up to be seen. Was told it was coming up. They asked for my name "to better serve me". After 25 minutes I approached and let them know I would rather have my money back. I had a movie to be at across the hall. I witnessed several other people make orders during this time. When I asked for a refund. The manager said she would bring me my food to the theater. This is after waiting 25 minutes and they hadn't even started my order. She told me to text her. And that she would personally deliver my food to my seat in the theater. I reaffirmed to get that the theater sells food (studio movie grill).. For whatever reason I believed her. I sent her a picture of my movie stub with seat number and times. 20 minutes later she responded and did she was on the way. Another 20 minutes later and I finally text back saying I was going to leave my movie to come get my refund. Upon getting to the counter I was now having to speak to a man who was not there before. I demanded my refund and was eventually given it. He said my food was ready and pointed to a to go order. He was promptly corrected by another girl that, that was in fact not my order. My order was never even started. I pointed out that everyone else was served. But why not me? That's when it dawned on me. I was the only white patron to place an order. I'm sure the food would've been great. But they apparently don't service white people here. Stay classy Isaac's..... On a second note. The entire place looks like it's held together with beer cans and scotch tape. No marquee, no cleanliness, she was holding the hamburger meat in her bare hands. Luckily I did take pictures took show all my friends. And I have the text conversation as proof.... Racism lives because of people...
Read moreThis wasn't my first experience at isaac's world famous, but it will be my last. On my first visit i met the owner . He had great customer service, good deals, and great employee's. But unfortunately on my most recent visit i was very disappointed. I order the same thing every time which is the 10 wonder wings and a basket of fries on the side . The wings usually come with carrots and celery and your choice of bleu cheese or ranch. But now the wings go by the "pound " but are still sold at the same price . The nice young lady told me that the least it would have was 8 wings and that they are much bigger than normal wings. I ordered the food trusting her . I ordered 2 orders of wonder wings and a basket of fries . What i got was 6 and a half wings in one box . The half is for the blowout drum he gave me . Which means there was only half of a drum there . And the other box had the tip of a wing and a bone with no meat on it and the box of fries werent even half way full . I didnt get any celery just 3 skimpy strips of carrot each . I called them and told them i havent ate anything and that i will keep the fries if they can give me my money back for the wings and the nice young lady wasnt so nice anymore . She started to become aggravated with me because i asked for my money back and she told me that once food leaves a restaurant you cant get your money back . Which i know isnt true bc i work at a restaurant. She said i could email the owner about it and that it was on the receipt. And after all that his email wasnt even on the receipt . Very unacceptable service and food. I never ate the food by the way. So i spent $25 at isaac's when i could of just went to nick's or salem's gyros and got better quality and...

Lettuce tomato, pickle, onion, ketchup, and mayo are served with it, on the side. The bun has a little mustard baked into it. The American cheese was properly melted onto the burger patty. The burger patty itself had some nice crispy edges to it and good seasoning. It was delicious.
Also ordered the Onion Haystack. Super delicious but pretty greasy...no surprise...it's batter fried onions! But I blotted them a bit with the really nice, thick napkins they give you. Sooo good!
I also ordered the sweet & spicy cole slaw which was good, but just seemed like regular cole slaw to me....tho very creamy and delicious.
And got a small $2 chili to try later as so many raved about it. It was really good, but too many beans for me. I really prefer chili without beans. But if you like chili with beans you will probably love it. The flavor was very good...a little on the spicy side...as most good chili is.
And the staff/owners were really nice, friendly,...
