Good evening,
I wish to convey my deep disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience. On October 22, 2024, at 11:20 AM, my 63-year-old mother, who has diabetes and hypertension, simply wanted to have a meal to address her low blood pressure. We were the first customers to arrive at that time. We ordered a four-piece meal with two sides and a drink. When the order was served, my mother opened the box and discovered that the chicken wings she specifically requested were cooked together and undercooked to her preference.
I approached the young man in the back and asked for a refry. However, he informed the older staff member that I was claiming the chicken was undercooked. She then stated, “It’s set on a timer; we know it’s cooked.” Following this, she began to attend to the other patrons for their orders. I believe during this time she intended to refry the chicken, but it seems there was a misunderstanding that I was asking for a refund. I clarified that I was simply requesting a refry. The older staff member then told me to sit down, and she would keep me informed.
At that point, the same gentleman who had been cooking yelled that I was a liar, stating, “I’m telling you you’re a liar to your face.” Despite my frustration, I chose to remain calm, particularly for my mother's sake, as she encouraged me in Spanish to let it go. She eventually decided to leave the establishment, kindly communicating that they could keep the money and the food. I respected her wishes.
However, after returning home and trying to help her stabilize, I noticed that her blood pressure dropped to 108/60 due to the anxiety and embarrassment she experienced. This reaction is unacceptable and reflects a lack of respect. As a customer service professional with ten years of experience, I have never witnessed such a profound disregard for empathy and service standards. Therefore, I would like for upper management or corporate to contact me A.S.A.P, as I believe a situation of this nature requires their direct attention.
Thank you...
Read moreTheir customer service is horrendous! When my mother, my son, and I pulled up to the speaker the cashier began to say something, I didn't fully hear whatever intro was stated so as my response I said "no thank" and I proceeded to order, before I could finish the cashier stated "so you do want a $5 fill up box?" my response was "yes". So she continued on to say "that's what we just asked you and said no thank you", (the speaker went silent) and my response was "I'm sorry I didn't hear you". When cashier came back on the speaker I heard laughter in the back ground and she stated "so you do want a $5 fill up box?" At that point my mother became upset so I told her not to worry about it because it's not that serious. I continued with my order and requested that all of my food be fresh. When I received my food we checked to see if it was correct as far as the items we ordered, however we did not check to see if it was fresh or if we had enough condiments simply because I thought it would be a no brainer seeing that I asked for my food to be fresh, I was also on my lunch so I had to go. When i got to work my food was cold, I ordered 3 fill up boxes and received ONE fork and ONE honey sauce. All because there was a misunderstanding from the start, which wasn't anyones fault. I will not be returning I don't care if I have to drive to the KFC in front of University mall, the drive will be worth...
