The owner is blindsiding customers with multiple up charges without bringing it to the attention of the customer. So upon Looking at my receipt closely. I noticed they charged me $2 extra on one meal and another $1 extra on the second meal then they charged me an additional $1.59 for using a credit card.
The fish is extremely paper, thin barely there and it is cut in half. They are not full pieces of fish so for $21 plus tax plus up charge for getting the beans and rice with it plus the dollar $.59 for you and my credit card I got, half slices of paper, thin fish, which is mostly crunch and no fish.
I was expecting to spend about $30 like what I usually would spend at Salem’s Gyro who gives you a heck of a lot of food but I ended up spending over $43 for half the amount of food and drink
had they informed me that there would be an up charge at the time I ordered it I would have kept the food like it was so that my total could be lower and also had they told me they were going to charge additional for my using a credit card I would have used my cash and save myself nearly five dollars from all these additional charges
I also ordered both drinks with no ice, but they both came with ice and my Very picky grand kids prefer their drinks room temperature.
They did replace the two drinks and gave me another half of a piece of fish (Which still does not equal the two pieces of fish that I paid for) that was thicker than the other half pieces of fish but also it Was Greatly lacking Seasoning and flavor.
So the lesson I learned here tonight is cook your own food, save your money, and if you know of a restaurant that serves you what you want how you needed it at the right price with the right flavor and good customer service, stick with that good thing Because trying to patronize a Small business to hopefully help them grow, it backfired on me .
Good Customer service is key and number one when you want to retain your customers and have a good Reputation.

I went a couple of days ago around 9pm or so and the staff was arguing amongst themselves. could be why the line is always so long. but I waited for them to finish arguing and then everyone in the growing line was able to place their orders. It took about 45 minutes altogether from when we arrived until we were served our food. I ordered the fish fingers and crab legs, and three plates of wings and fries. THERE WAS A SMALL HAIR IN THE CONTAINER with the fish fingers. It looked like a beard hair it was short and curled and black. the fish fingers are like a golden color so the hair stuck out against the white tray. But again, ive been a customer so I took the plate to the counter and said hey, theres a hair in the container can you remake it. He challenged whether my claim was valid....and then began to dig through the plate with a butter knife. Im 37 years old.... I dont have time for games, I'm not eating around someone elses hair. So i simply asked him to refund the fish fingers and I took the rest of my food with me to go. I dropped my daughter off at her home with two of the wing plates and i headed home to pasco. as soon as i reached the county line my daughter calls me to say she pulled a hair out of her mouth as she was eating a chicken wing. TWO HAIRS NOW. I turned around on I75 nd came alllllllll the way back to refund all of the food. wherever they store their containers probably needs to be cleaned and they need to pay attention to the food instead of arguing and acting bad. Read moreUsually I'm pretty satisfied. And with the food I still am, however I'm very disappointed with the service last night. I was in the drive thru and when I get to the window to pay (after i showed my ID) the young man at the window didn't want to give me my military discount which I get there all the time. He states "next time I got you" I said no you got me now, I get it all the time. Then he said "my manager is not here". I then said get someone else to take care of it. He then proceeded to say "I can't do it". So I said to him, look I get my discount all the time go ask someone else to help you if you don't know how to do it. He finally did and they applied the discount and he had me show my ID again (because he didn't pay attention the 1st time). Before I was charged I asked for lots of ketchup, ranch dressing for the gizzards in the order. Well he substituted (which I didn't realize until I got home) my sauces that came with my fish fingers. So I didn't have enough sauce for everything I ordered. When he could've charged me if he had to for the ranch/ketchup. Before I left the drive thru I did check my food but not my sauces. And he did say he didn't know about the discount after doing all of that.
