Sushi with a side of soul! We had an incredible date night at Nori Nori — a cozy, stylish spot in Seminole Heights that’s full of charm and flavor. The space is intimate, and sitting at the bar with the open kitchen in full view made the experience even more special. Watching the chefs in action, especially the incredibly kind and talented sous chef, Brian (or Bryan) — felt like dinner and a show.

We ordered the Favorite Set (5 handrolls), the salmon crudo (my personal favorite — unbelievably fresh), hamachi shots (so fun and flavorful), and a wakame salad that was refreshingly unique. The sparkling sake was a perfect pairing. They were out of the takoyaki that night (a bit of a bummer — but also a great excuse to go back soon!).

The interior was thoughtfully designed, with warm tones and a playful "Rice to meet you" neon sign that made us smile. It’s clear this place was built with love and we’re thrilled to have it in the neighborhood.

We’ll definitely be back. Nori Nori is exactly the kind of place that makes Seminole...

We went here on a saturday around 6pm and it was super packed! Luckily since it was only two of us we didn’t have to wait for a seat. It’s a small place so not ideal for bigger parties. We had to sit at the bar and it was super tight. Parking was a bit difficult, we had to park on the street.

We ordered the sunomono, hojicha tea, and the classic set for each of us. My brother has a shellfish allergy so we had to substitute the miso scallop handroll, but they were super accommodating and made sure to take his allergy seriously! Double checked with us an everything (especially since I got the miso scallop for myself).

The sunomono was really refreshing and the rolls were so good and fresh! We weren’t sure if it would’ve filled us up but the 4 handrolls and shared appetizer was definitely enough.

The service was absolutely amazing, both the chefs and our waiter were wonderful! Would love to come back to try their...

Sadly we did not have a good experience..we were very excited for a new sushi spot. We got there around 5:30 only 2 other parties were there so not busy. We ordered the specialty sampler of 6 pieces and since it was recommend by other reviews and one app. At about 6:00pm it started to pick up some. They brought out one hand roll at a time..we didn’t get all 6 hand rolls till almost 7:30pm. My husband was very upset! We had to remind them that we still haven’t gotten our last roll. We wanted the sampler to munch around and try different kinds..but we only enjoyed one roll every 15-20mins..had to split each one to be able to eat. We came hungry and excited and were not satisfied at all. We had to grab food else where afterwards. $70...

My boyfriend and I wanted to try out Nori Nori because it was blowing up all over our Tiktok, safe to say it was for a good reason! We came around 8pm on a Friday night and were able to get a table with no wait. The handrolls were amazing, especially the A5 Wagyu and Bluefin Toro. We also enjoyed the edamame, takoyaki and crispy rice tuna, flavors were so yummy. The owner Chau also came around and was very welcoming and kind. This place is great for a date night or a craving for some good filling sushi! Overall, a great little hidden gem and will be back!
