I really want to like this place. However a number of things went wrong unfortunately.
they asked us to move our table since it was too close to the door, then parts of the table fell off so they had to lay it on its side and fix it. Which was honestly something that didn't bother if that was the only thing that was out of ordinary. our plates came out dirty so they sent us new ones. Mine still had brown sauce on it after being brought back so I ended up just not using my plate instead of sending it back again. the waitress forgot my dad lobster roll which wouldn't have been a big deal if she checked on us after the food arrived it would have been solved quickly but we waited 10-15 minutes for her to come back then had to flag down another staff member to ask about where his lobster roll was. lastly the happy hour oysters are false advertisement. It says daily happy hour oysters 1.25 then on the happy hour menu they list all of the oyster they have with no prices on it. So you would assume they would be 1.25. however that is no the case only the local oysters are 1.25 everything else was 2.75-3.25 each which was 95% of what we ordered off the happy hour menu. the lobster roll and crab Mac and cheese were light on the meat in regard to the price. Tuna sandwich had a good amount of tuna. However was cold since we waited for my father to receive his food. If youre looking for a good lobster roll jazzy is #1 then The lobster shack has a great lobster roll for the price and quantity.

Read moreOcean Ink is an awesome new addition to the Tampa food scene. Having lived in Tampa Heights, South Tampa, and now seminole heights, I’ve long felt Tampa needed more raw bars than just downtown. It did not disappoint; they have several options for seafood towers (already a huge plus in my book) that included Gulf, East, or West coast oyster selections. We got the East coast and they were excellent. A very pleasant surprise came due to the fact that the menu listed snowcrab for the the tower we chose, but we got stone crab instead - we totally forgot the season was just starting.
Every food item we tried was delicious, and the cocktails were good as well. The courtyard has a great vibe. I think my only critique would be that the indoor section of the restaurant could be nicer, and feature a display of the fresh seafood...
Read moreWas very excited to try, 2 of us sat at the bar after waiting for a table for an hour. Never notified us just returned to ask if table was prepared. So we then sat with not even a word for 10 mins, had to ask for a bartender/server who was talking to her friends the other direction. Ordered the seafood platter for two and was asked if we wanted it how it came or “better seafood” for $40 more. Certainly there is a “better” way to pose that question. Ceviche was fantastic, as was the smoked mahi dip and vegetables. The oysters were mediocre and not cold enough. Had to ask 3 times for more crackers (came with very few for a large serving) Just seemed like the bar staff had zero interest in service. Maybe getting that table we requested would have yielded a...
