On Top of the Palms - University of South Florida — Restaurant in Tampa

This is USF’s attempt on high-end dining. Located on the 3rd floor of the Student Marshall Center, this is a buffet style restaurant that serves different food every day. The service was friendly and it’s a good place to chat with colleagues. For a buffet, the prices were reasonable.

For Tuesday, June 4, what was served on the buffet was butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, and beef shawarma. The butter chicken was too mild for my taste, but the Shawarma was flavorful with all the sauces on it. The desserts were good, had a good texture. This place is AMAZING. I do not like to eat from outside. I'm extremely picky. But let me tell you this place has won me over. Its located at University of South Florida, Tampa campus and is, big, spacious, CLEAN AND SMELL FREE. Its a buffet from starters to entrees, desserts and drinks and coffee and unlimited tea.
